What kinda options are there for the controls? Asking for a left handed friend.

Anyone else watching Deckís video genuinely worried about him being out in public post lockdown?

I didn't actually mean to stab her in the vagina on the 12 minute mark. And then the screw driver in the nostril was just to test the physics.

How come this game just suddenly appeared? It wasn't on my radar at all, anyway. It seems big enough that Sony should have been making some noise before release. Are we that down on games set in an apocalypse now, perhaps?

I haven't played much of it but if you're into mutilating corpses it's worth every penny. The way they've managed to make it feel like you're actually driving a knife into someone's skull and then yanking it out again is really quite a great bit of programming. The erection can get a bit painful after a while but other than that it seems great.

Just tried Moss, Blood and Truth and Eve Valkyrie.. then finished off with a race on WipEout.

Moss is charming, the wife will love it.
Blood and Truth was very good, great presentation and great fun. Ended up spending far too much time on the shooting gallery challenges!
Eve plays well and good visuals. Just did the tutorial.
WipEout is bloody impressive, looks stunning. Any advice on the best setup to limit any motion issues?

Walking Dead can wait till the weekend.

My admittedly underage son for a walking dead game, thinks its one of the best VR titles he's played so far and he's played many, many vr titles.

May need to lock the bedroom door in case he comes at us with a shiv in the middle of the night.

    @Gibroon

    How old is your son?
I really want my 5 year old to check out Beat Sabre...only for 5 minutes. He's so intrigued by the headset and doesn't understand when I explain what happens with it on.

He's 13, got the headset for his 12th birthday which is the recommended age. I am not sure if I would have let him play at 5 though. I was a bit concerned about what it does to his brain as he spends a lot of time on it.

Rec room is his main game, has found some good friends on it so he plays a lot of co-op missions and death matches. He's also designed quite a few levels for it. Gets a lot of likes and one level was in the top 10 for over a month.

He seems to be a fairly normal teenager, can be grumpy at times but school work has not been affected by his love of vr.

    Excuse the long winded reply.

He wants an index and Half life:Alyx. :/

Walking Dead is actually really good, enjoyed my first go with it. Great controls and does feel like a fully fleshed out game, impressed.

I love my PSVR but I do think we should have higher expectations of it. It's been out nearly 4 years and has sold millions of units - making a fully fleshed out game shouldn't be considered unusual or impressive.

I wish someone would do an old skool dungeon crawler in PSVR, like Ultima Underworld or Eye of the Beholder (one of my favourite games from the Amiga era) with the tight confines of a dungeon you could really ramp up the graphics and atmosphere, with the move controllers you could have your sword in one hand and torch/shield in the other its practically made for VR.

In Death might be close enough to what you're looking for...

... I've not played it myself, but think it reviewed well.

Really impressed with Saints and Sinners the more I get into it. The physics, controls and interactivity are by far the best I've played on PSVR.

Sounds good Iíll give it a go for 11 quid. Just played Shooty Fruity for the first time, bought it ages ago and completely forgot about it. The premise is bonkers, shooting evil fruit whilst working on a supermarket checkout, but itís actually great.. scanning shopping whilst shooting fruit with a shotgun is both challenging and fun :)

Picked up Tetris Effect, Blood & Truth and Ace Combat 7 for £40 on Ebay. Seemed like a good deal. Most of all I'm hoping Tetris Effect will help me chill the fuck out.

Iron Man seems pretty good. Controls will take some getting used to and the Aldi Tony Stark is shit but it was pretty cool flying about the place. I'm guessing there's no pro support yet though because it looks pretty rough.

Oh and don't go near it if you get motion sickness as my usual solid stomach was lurching all over the place.

Really like the Iron Man demo. I was probably already getting it anyway but it's better than I was expecting at making you feel like Iron Man. Will definitely take a bit practice but I really think they've got the fundamental experience almost spot on :)

So had my first play of RE7 today. It really is very good, isn't it! I was a bit worried by the opening bit (with the naff looking foliage), but once you're in the house it's as creepy AF.

It was my first VR session in a while and going straight in with smooth turning at a quick speed, and a 90 minute session might have been a little ambitious - definitely feeling a little queasy now!

    Still can't play re7 in vr! 😂

Iron Man was pretty good. Was expecting to feel pretty bad, but they've nailed the controls. Takes a little getting used to, but it really gives you the experience!
