    @evild_edd

    I've just started too, with incremented turning but I didn't like it - usually ended up walking down the hallways sideways or a slightly weird angle..
    Felt pretty sick after.

    I'll try smooth turning next time, although that could be worse!

    @DasBooter

    I suspect thar I'd be okay in shorter stints, or with a better midpoint game to ease me back in. I was enjoying it too much and got carried away.

    Unfortunately Resi titles encourage long sessions, so I can imagine myself falling into that trap again!

    The only time I've felt motion sickness like that was with RiGS, but I got the hang of that after a while.

    Have just ordered the starter pack from Amazon. I have a couple of games already for it namely Resident Evil 7, Ace Combat 7 and Everybodys Golf

    I also plan to pick up Rez Infinite, Tetris Effect and Astro Bot.

    Any other recommendations ?

    Yeah. You'll need a headphone cable though.

    I didn't get on with the tutorial of RiGS. I remember (at the time at least) it had enforced blinkers up to a certain point, so I felt super queasy. I don't do blinkers. I need as much peripheral visual information as possible to eliminate any motion sickness, so blinkers are almost instant vomitsville for me. I appreciate I'm in the minority on that though so generally if a game enforces them, I know it's for the greater good.

    Thankfully almost no games enforce them 100% of the time. Even RiGS lets you change it after the tutorial. That said I did feel ill playing Rollercoaster Dreams once, but that's because I intentionally made a rollercoaster to make me feel ill :p

    Thanks. Does it have to plug into the PSVR headset or the dualshock controller ?

    So had my first play of RE7 today. It really is very good, isn't it! I was a bit worried by the opening bit (with the naff looking foliage), but once you're in the house it's as creepy AF.

    It was my first VR session in a while and going straight in with smooth turning at a quick speed, and a 90 minute session might have been a little ambitious - definitely feeling a little queasy now!
    I noped out of REVII in VR after 15 minutes, but now after having played Alyx headcrab on my face I should easily be able to. Whatís a guy with an axe compared to that? With teleport movement and snap turning, mind.

    Skyrim and Borderlands 2 are excellent and both still give me the "coooool look at that" feeling.

    Played the Iron Man VR demo and it was good fun, no nausea at all. Definitely on my radar now.

    Is it aim compatible or best played with the moves?

    I got the firewall and aim bundle. Firewall seems decent mechanics and immersion wise but not sure I have the patience for online play. Any recommendations for campaigns to play through with the aim would be appreciated.

    Nah it wouldn't work with aim. Most of it is melee based, grab their head with one had then ram a spoon into their eye socket with the other sort of thing.

    Farpoint is a must with the aim controller. Arizona Sunshine is pretty good too.

    Absolutely loved Farpoint, have been through the whole game a bunch of times. Really fluid controls and (for the tiny playing space I have at least) the best tracking in a FPS. I normally wouldn't even touch timed challenge modes in an FPS but the core shooting gameplay is so satisfying I put quite a bit of time into those too. I still suck, but I can't blame games for that :p

    The new weapons from the updates require a little too much grinding - as I say I played it a lot but only have a handful of the new weapons. Still working towards the Incendiary Shotgun but I do love the Precision Rifle that tags enemies and can fire through scenery so you can break cover, tag, then hide at you fire through the big rock in front of you.

    It lacks variety and the stretches between new enemies and weapons is a bit on the long side, but I still love it.

    Thanks all, went a bit wild and got Farpoint and Saints & Sinners to have some campaigns to play through and Knockout League, Sprint Vector and Sparc for ones that are supposed to be a bit of a workout.

    If there is anyone who wants to play any of the above online I'd be happy to have a game.

    Really enjoying resident evil 7, I just experienced the 'dinner party' and was physically recoiling.

    The Iron Man demo is fun although I have the turning circle of a jumbo jet..

    Space Pirate Trainer is good, even though I'm not that good at it.

    One for the wife/kids is The Curious Tale of The Stolen Pets. It's cute, charming and well worth a look.

    Think a sale started yesterday with some decent Psvr bargains including Astrobot.

    I picked up Concrete Genie and didn't realise it has a VR mode so will try and check it out tonight.

    Re: Walking Dead S&S, I was really enjoying what I played of it too, though I was finding some of the directions for progression a little unclear. I also keep emptying my revolver every time I tried to shoot it leading me to run out of weapons a lot. Will be sinking more time into it this evening.

    On a separate note, I absolutely loved Farpoint. Loaded it up for the first time right after the NASA / SpaceX launch on Saturday and flew through it. Really fun gunplay and a beautiful world to look at. Was definitely the game I caught myself staring around open mouthed the most anyway.

    Pretty decent variety of enemies for the 5/6 hours it takes to complete the main story too. Will definitely be playing back through it a couple more times. Really hope to see lots more game like this.
