Registered 15 years agoThat's a shame. You should flog it, especially if nothing shown of Touch tickles your fancy. While there's still value in it. -

I'm in.
Rez, Battlezone, Star Wars mission, Drive Club and some other I probably haven't thought of.
If memory serves correctly then there's going to be/is a new camera and move controllers?
Edit: Got a Pro on order as well.
Expensive few months.
The new camera and moves have the same functionality as the old ones. I picked up 2 moves for £30 at CEX.
Also looking forward to Star Wars VR Mission but as it is a Rogue One tie-in I think we'll probably have to wait until December for it unfortunately.

Registered 17 years agoI've got a trial booked at their live demo tour next month in London. I'm sceptical to be honest, but willing to be impressed!
We've got a launch rift at work and while it's cool, it's almost a novalty item and no one really bothers with it anymore. The only thing of worth I've really played on it is Elite, that in VR is brilliant. -

Im going to try the demo disk first but I'm swaying towards battlezone and eve at the moment.
What games are people getting? I like the look of battlezone
And also Batman as it's only £16 quid. Driveclub is also a definite but will probably give it a few weeks.
Does everyone have their US account set up so they can download the 18 demo version? -

Registered 5 years agoI think there's been work done on the wheel force feedback for DriveClub for the VR version, which is good because using a wheel with the standard game is awful. -

Registered 8 years agoGot mine pre-ordered with Shopto along with RIGS and VR Worlds.
I did have Arkham VR pre-ordered too, however I've only just realised that it's disappeared.....it's not for sale on Amazon either.
Not sure what happened there? -

Registered 3 years agoI tried the PSVR at a little demo thing-a-ma-jig, and it's really good, and great fun: Farpoint in particular stands out as a really damn good shooter, if a little simple in demo form.
THAT BEING SAID, I sympathize with the concerns people have. I would definitely feel a little more confident if there were a couple more proper, 100% games out for it. As it stands, I going to use the months leading up to it's release to internally debate whether it's worth picking up. -

Registered 14 years agoYeah I totally get that it's a gamble but i'm just ready for something new. I have come to terms with the fact that it will probably be obsoleted within a couple of years, but I intend to enjoy it while it lasts.
And as someone else mentioned it's idiots like me that pave the way for better and cheaper technology down the road.
I've only had a quick go on the Rift, so it's encouraging seeing the mostly positive reviews of PSVR. -

It's released in a little under three weeks. Whether you'll be able to pick it up on 13th October is a different matter.

Registered 8 years agoIs DriveClub VR a retail release?
Can't find it on ShopTo.
Anyway, I haven't preordered one but have been dropping plenty of hints.
Hopefully get one for christmas from the wife.
It does have a Playstation Move/Kinect whiff about it. -

Not sure about £250 profit though, seems a bit high. What are you basing that on? -

Pre-orders have sold out - Amazon and Shopto have no more stock and are limiting PSVR to 'one per customer', so they are going to be tricky to buy probably until 2017.
It all depends if they take off and become the 'must have' thing for Christmas. If Sony manage to successfully market PSVR to kids and it's top of a lot of Christmas lists.....they could go for big money on eBay. -

Registered 14 years agoIt's on the Sony VR website. Saw a Twitter link for GAME and there are a few other places where it's being shown.
I wear glasses so I definitely want to try it out. Battle zone and PSVR is also at the Play Expo at Event City near the Trafford centre that weekend. -

Registered 15 years agoI told myself I wouldn't pre-order, kept up the pretence for a few weeks and then caved. Amazon are currently estimating they'll deliver it by Monday 18 November. Hopefully my neighbour will be able to take the delivery.
I've pre-ordered it with VR Worlds, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and Super Stardust. I'm actually really excited about Rush of Blood, despite the fact it looks nothing like Until Dawn - horror plus light-gun action plus roller coaster in VR sounds like a winning combination.

Yes, the developer did say that it is coming to PS4 but that the Xbox One version was a timed console exclusive.

I have no idea how long that runs for but it's been on Xbox for a while hasn't it? Probably timed quite nicely for PSVR.
