    Just looking into VR for the first time and tempted to pick up a PSVR - I can't see that the V2 is available anywhere though, is it not widely available in the UK yet?

    I don't think it's advertised as v2 as it isn't really an upgrade, but the small changes aren't much I Don think think. If you're paying the same might as well though.

    Anyone use a headset with VR? Any recommendations? Looking for something inexpensive but that fits well with the headset.

    I use the PSVR headset, I find that works best for PSVR.

    @monkman76

    :'D

    I meant stereo headset (rather than ear buds) that'll fit over the top of the PSVR headset!

    I know, I was just being a dick :)

    I think the PS brand surround headphones work OK but I haven't tried myself, I just use ear buds.

    I use the earbuds too. I find the headset is already enough weight/heat on my head.

    I get that, but my wife has weird-shaped ears that won't hold earbuds, and headphones are a little better for swapping around if you're showing off to others :0)

    That's true. Something like this, perhaps?

    @dominalien

    Actually that might work. Cheap enough to try out anyway...

    When I'm demoing PSVR to people and passing the headset around, I don't bother with earphones and just have the sound coming from the TV. Yeah, I know you lose the 3D sound, but it's much less faff. No one else do that?

    Yeah I do. Although it is surprising how much of the effect is lost when you lose the positional audio...

    Right, move controllers ordered using the Amazon £10 off code. Which games use them best?

    Yeah sometimes I do this if other people are round because it's just easier.

    If I'm doing a session on my own I sometimes use buds but if the Sony 2.0 headset is charged, I'll use that - fits quite well

    No-one else tried The Inpatient yet? Curious to hear other people's thoughts.

    What type of game is the Inpatient? Is it a bit like Res7 where you can walk around or isnít it on rails like the last game ?

    It's not on rails; it has free movement, but it's considerably more linear than RE7, essentially a walking simulator. Think something along the lines of Fated: The Silent Oath. It doesn't have any real puzzles or combat.

    I was on the fence but the very lukewarm response here and on Reddit has made me totally disinterested. Shame as Supermassive had a pretty impressive VR showing previously.

    One thing I will say for it is that it's probably the most technically impressive PSVR title I've played.

    Although I had no immediate desire to jump back into it when I finished it, I am relatively curious about how much difference your choices make, so I probably will give it at least one more playthrough at some point.

    I think its biggest crime is a rather lacklustre finishing act and anticlimactic ending, after a very strong opening.

    I've enjoyed a lot of walking simulators and VR seems a natural fit for them but 35 quid for a 2 to 3 hour experience? That's insane.

    Hi!

    I'm a student from the UK conducting a research study into the uses and gratifications of VR gamers and how it compares to gaming in front of a TV/Monitor. I would appreciate it so much if you could fill out my survey, it will not take longer than 5 minutes. The survey is highly confidential and all data will be erased after 30 days. Thank you!

    Done. You could probably benefit more if you have a few "Other: please type below" as some of the choices in later questions are a bit limiting.

    Picked up Ultrawings yesterday, absolutely great game and really addictive.

    Putting that helmet on and turning on the engine is really fun

    Time spent gaming per week: 2 to 4 hours or 8 to 12?

    About 6...

    Finally got some Move Controllers yesterday so I started Superhot VR. So, so good!

    Makes you feel like such a badass, but from the video the girlfriend took of me playing it's very apparent it doesn't make you look like one!

    Haha, I'm not sure I'd want to see that. I was DEFINITELY a badass in that game.

    @Stan546 Gets even better when you unlock the stunt plan. Make sure you turn sim controls on though. May be my fave VR experience so far.
