Batman is pretty awesome. Only took an hour to run through it the first time, but I've just spent another hour digging around for secrets :)

Doesn't seem to be part of the Days of Play sale, but Sprint Vector is £9.79, I've picked that up!
Had my first attempt at that just now and come away unimpressed. I hope it's just because I need more practice in the tutorials
Fuck, I just tried it. Shame I can't get a refund as I absolutely would. Like you maybe I just need more time in the tutorials but jesus christ it's awful. I'm struggling to keep top speed and trying to navigate the courses at all is just an exercise in futility. I'm constantly ending up stuck in walls and boulders, it's ridiculous.
Exactly my issue when trying to race, the first course is far too busy and I end up stuck behind stuff, and likewise I can't keep top speed. There must be something I'm missing because it seems to have glowing reviews from most sources.

Yeah I just saw it on offer and bought it, didn't do my usual digging around because I'd heard such good stuff. I've got a terminal case of manflu and was playing it at 5am so maybe not the best start - I'll go back when I feel a bit better and just keep making Batman wave at himself in the mirror until then!

Dunno, in the demo section? I've played it so it's definitely there somewhere.

I got the Apex Construct demo this morning - as ever it's easier to look on the website from a PC. I found it in the demos section. It seemed ok, but the demo was incredibly short and doesn't give you much of a feel for the game, plus the bow and arrow was very iffy with the motion tracking.

@scoobysi donít think so. Pinball fx is a bit disappointing imo. I expected it to feel like youíre standing at a table but for some reason it feels more like youíre just playing with your face really close to the tv

@wildbillch cheers, I wondered why I couldnít find a demo as they usually temp with a free table, maybe thatís why. I was tempted by the Walking Dead table.

I got the £250 deal from GAME yesterday. Only played a few of the little demo style things you get so far and am positively blown away! Resolution sucks balls but you can't have it all. I'm feeling motion sickness with it after a little while too so hopefully I can build up a resistance over time because I would be massively disappointed if I couldn't get over it.

The motion sickness gets better, your brain soon learns to cope with it. Did you try the ocean descent one?

@Decks Ocean descent was the first thing in tried and I was 100% fine with it. Then I tried rigs and I felt it almost straight away. Have felt it on a couple of other games too but not as bad as Rigs. I will have a look at that IPD thing, cheers for that!

Rigs is pretty rough for it. Best to ease yourself in with a few less mobile things.

I really want to get a 'Flight Simulator' or similar, but all I keep seeing is Ace Combat might be coming out some time, and Ultrawings, which looks OK, but I was more after

    Or

Come on Sony, soryt it out!

I'm curious to try that manual IPD thing. I think mine is decent, but worth seeing if I can improve it.

I tried it and it ended up coming out as the default anyway!

I finished Batman today, mostly - all the Riddler bits are done so I have all the unlockables, which is the main thing. Only bit I haven't done is hitting all the cameras etc. Only two short but can't be arsed figuring out which.

Overall though, this almost justifies the whole price of the headset on it's own :) Seeing yourself as Batman is awesome, the story is short but cool, and being able to look at the characters and vehicles is incredible.

Also - the 1989 Batmobile was clearly the coolest. All downhill from there.

    @IronGiant
I'm glad it's officially confirmed but was kinda hoping for a release date. Part of me was hoping they were going to do a surprise 'It's out now!' announcement. Ah well, let's see what tonight brings.

I think the PSVR is the first thing thatís given me that excitement in gaming since I first picked up the joypad of my Dreamcast back in the day.

The likes of Rez and Wipeout signify the purchase alone.

Just tried it there. The boxing is great. Skipped through the Wilder fight, the finish felt absolutely brutal.

@Decks I watched the NFL, NBA Finals then El Classico on it and Wrestlemania. Apparently this is how they are doing the World Cup too..

If they can live stream events like the big boxing fights, the Superbowl, World Cup like that, it's like printing money.

@richardiox It's a VR TV app that puts you in the stands at whatever event they have on. Like, you can be stood on the ringposts at a boxing match, or behind the goal at El Classico, or at the endzone of the NFl. In real time. Try it, it's ridiculous.

Yes. I watched highlights of WM and Fastlane from standing on the right side of the hard cam ringpost. Like, AJ is battering Shinsuke about a foot in front of you . If you have VR, check it out. It's free too
