Crazy how subjective it is. I was sure you'd be as in love with Dirt Rally in VR as I am. To me that's head and shoulders above anything else on PSVR (though I haven't played as many of the games as you have!). Farpoint with the Aim I just didn't find worth the slight nausea it gave me. Superhot is the only thing that's come close to DR for me.

I probably put about 100 hours into DR before getting VR so I'm was already kind of sick of it. I do need to put a bit more time into though as I really enjoyed it.

We've got a bunch of other hands on from E3 this year - but I recall there was particular interest in this one:

PLaying Superhot yesterday, which is bloody brilliant I might add, but quite often the on screen hands were in a completely different place to where they should have been. Often drifting and it really messed things up for me, any tips?

Giving your hands a shake normally gets it to pick them up properly again. Also make sure you checked the camera is positioned right for standing up.

Dim the lights in your room, make sure there are no light sources visible to the camera.

But yeah it's an imperfect system. Some jank is just part of the deal.

Leaving the headset/moves laying still for a minute (in view of the camera) seems to work for me, but some games just seem to have those issues whatever you do tbh. I tend to turn it all on and have a quick blast of Battle Garegga, helps let the goggles warm up too.

As Decks says, a quick wiggle sorts the moves, but drift/world wobble (sorry to get all technical on you, there) is just something some games suffer from. Hopefully v3 of this won't involve tech that's from last generation (ffs).

    Also, Thumper is fab.

Thanks chaps, will try those suggestions. Dimming lights especially sounds like a good shout.

Also I assume you know about holding the Options button to reset your position (headset and controllers)? It's slightly fiddly to find on the Moves when you've got the goggles on (and I guess it's labelled Start rather than Options).

Yeah, I did know that and it works, but then my hand will be in the air above my head or something like that. Will try again later though!

Shaking the moves in front of the camera will definitely fix that.

The Brookhaven Experiment is alright if you can get it cheap, which you can as it's currently 3.99 in that sale linked above. It has Aim support, should you want something else to justify that large piece of plastic, and is a fun little wave shooter where you blast away at zombies and mutant things from a fixed position.

I was a big fan of Brookhaven on proper VR (zing!!!). At that price it's a no-brainer for a few evenings of enjoyable blasting.

I've played that one on Vive, it was a bit rough and didn't seem all that engaging. Still, 3.99 is basically lunch for a day, so it's barely worth saying no to.

Yeah as was looking at that. Looks a bit shonky but as you say 3.99 is worth a punt.

It was a very early title so yeah doesn't have the greatest level of polish, but it has a decent atmosphere and I liked the weapons. Vive version needed the room scale to work because it was very frenetic in the latter stages, but I read they dumbed the game down for conslolgoggles so enemies form a conga line and slowly troop toward the player. So there's that.

Look we're all having fun here but please don't speak ill of the official rifle accessory. There isn't the slightest bit of lag when I use her.
