I also get a lot of drift in Farpoint. Every couple of minutes I have to shake it about so it resets.

That's what I tell my wife when she catches me at it.

Played the Tetris Effect demo, and it is very well put together, but not quite good enough to spunk £35 on Tetris.

Definitely one to grabbing a sale though.

Had a good session on astro bot this afternoon - what an amazing game, so much fun to play and some many good touches. Near the end of the second world.

The Tetris demo is quite fun, but I donít see myself spending £35 on it. Itís just a flat Tetris screen in front of you in VR, but with loads of flashing lights putting you off. I liked the music integration though

So, I've just ordered a PSVR Starter Pack for £100(!) and Astro Bot from Amazon (currently £23.28, 9 copies left currently). I have Wipeout, going to get Thumper most likely, any recommendations for games? And any tips to reduce motion sickness?

Spend your first five hours in VR on static experiences... You have to train yourself into it. Starting with a something like the shark dive demo from VR worlds, Astrobot Bot should be fine too.

Don't jump straight into Wipeout basically.

Astrobot isn't fine, the camera movement can give some people nausea (me included to some extent). It's no Wipeout but I wouldn't start with it.

I guess i've been really lucky and had no sickness with any of the games. Actually thought I would do with my shitty eyesight.

If Grassy wasn't such a prevelant user, I'd be thinking this was a scam... But now I'm interested too!

    My 2pence
    Rez
    Rush of Blood
    Superhot
    AstroBot

I was fine with the vr nausea for a while but the scavenger game on vr worlds definitely gave me a bit of a wobbler. Since then I'm not too bad but I'm definitely taking it easy, 30 minutes here and there. Some games are fine but others are 5 minutes and I need to take the headset off.

I'll get my vr legs eventually.

Astrobot is a killer for newbies. Start with anything that keeps you completely still, then move onto things that have you moving but on rails (e.g. Rush of Blood where you're sat in a cart so it makes sense to your brain). Anything with free movement last.

    @ModoX
I was stupidly standing up when I played rush of blood first time. The small roller-coaster section on the first level made me a bit queasy, not too bad when I sat down next time. 😉

That game is intense and properly gave me a few scares.

@greenmekon finished the final boss yesterday, fun and reasonably tough, now onto the challenge belt!

@Gibroon I got my VR legs pretty quickly, but scavenger made me want to throw up.

@Roastinglbs the bosses are great, just finished off the 3rd world with the missus, she loves it. Some of the challenges are tough.

Tried the VR on my sister today. She wasn't having any of it any first and then nearly shat herself on the shark "game" on VR worlds. That certainly made her into a believer. Kept trying to grab onto the cage!

Yeah, I was underwhelmed. I think that I was expecting massive blocks or something, not just to play regular Tetris while sitting underwater. Think I'll give it a skip and stick to Lumines.

It definitely has massive blocks. To be fair I didn't play it long enough at first to get to the point it featured massive blocks. The massive blocks seemed to only be in the non-story mode thing (can't remember what it's called), but if you want massive blocks, there are definitely massive blocks to be had.
