And why spunk money on this jalopy when your readies could be used to procure a copy of Guilty Gear Xrd Rev. 2?FuzzyDucky wrote:
I'm blue saying it, ArcSytemsWorks' games have had as much, if not more content than Netherealms' games since the PS2 era. They also look and sound better than their rivals and are debatably even better than Capcom titles in terms of gameplay.FuzzyDucky wrote:
People say "vote with your wallet"... I have, bought one Capcom game in the last five years (I ditched them after the SFxT shit show) and that was second hand. Capcom can get well and truly fucked.FuzzyDucky wrote:
We get it ok. Don't you have an anime forum to post in or something?
Why can ASW, who are tiny compared to Capcom or Netherealm knock out games that look, sound and play better than Capcom's, have as much content as Netherealm all the while using Unreal 3 in a way that had Epic saying "holy shit".
Stop apologising/paying for Capcom nickel and dime tactics.

Ghost Rider is super fun in this game and seems to be more viable than in UMVC3. I'm having issues finding a character to pair him up with though. I miss akuma and taskmaster. -

I'm just playing it offline with mates, but it seems to be doing ok on the PS4. The steam numbers are absolutely terrible though.

Registered 15 years ago@Bahamafish Ghost Rider is SUPER fun. I agree. My team is GR and Thor. It's unconventional, but when it works, well...
Happy Birthday situations are great fun.
And Cosmical, you can't approach each fighter with the same mentality. What looks cheap to you (you referenced Reality and Dormammu's thorns in part of your whining) is completely beatable. You just need to learn how. Like Reality Stone on perfect push block will send it back, for example. -

Registered 15 years agoYeah, we get it man, and I sympathise. Recent Capcom games have been a bit wobbly. SFV was, and pre-release MVCI was.
MVCI is, and I'll repeat, fantastic good fun for what has been delivered. It's solid.
But it's pretty clear you've expressed that opinion over and over again now. We get it, WeeabooDucky. It's not ASW so ergo, it must be shit.

Registered 15 years agoFair enough! Though I think the point above Bahamafish was trying to make was there's a difference between making a point, and then droning on.
Rubbish story demo aside, you given this much of a try? -

Registered 12 years agoWell to be fair, the game has tanked pretty hard in sales, just like SFxT and SFV. As a guy I watched on youtube mentioned. Capcom don't do the "ok, it's not selling, why is that and what can we do to improve it?" instead they'll be like "ok, our Fighting Games are doing piss poor, can the entire department!"
I also wouldn't be surprised with the announcement of SFV: Arcade Edition being confirmed for released a lot of people have just gone "Huh, welp, I'm going to wait for UMvCI to come out with all the DLC in it now..."
On a side note, since I couldn't find a Tekken 7 topic, going to ask in here (don't worry, it's not Tekken specific). Does a fightstick offer better preformance than just your standard old Controller or is it a case of 'either does in a pinch at a semi-casual level'?
I've been pondering getting one but I'm not sure what a good, affordable fight stick would be. -
Watching a stream of this now. I still can't fathom how the graphics are worse than MVC3. It looks awful. -

Registered 12 years agoWell apparently the budget for MvCI was half of that of SFV's DLC budget...not the main game budget but its DLC...probably explains a lot of things sadly... -

Registered 15 years ago@Dr_Mech game dependant. Some are aimed more so at pad Vs stick, such as injustice and MvCi. I'm using a stickless stick, which is like a bit of a hybrid. -

Registered 17 years agoThis game can suck a dick.
Can't play with two controllers on PC. That's literally the basis of the game fucked. Both of them register as P1. Look online, people say plug three controllers in. Absolute bollocks, but I'm lucky enough to have three, so I plug a third in.
P2 controls both characters AT THE SAME TIME. Complete horseshit.
Figure I'll play with a keyboard instead - exact same problem.
What the fuck are the developers thinking?! Their game is literally broken. Not in a let's moan about everything type of way. In an actual, literal way. -

Registered 15 years agoDid you turn on all.controller support in the options? -
@Rivuzu Options in the game? I went through every option there was to try and find a solution.
The only option that could have worked was turning controller select on or off. That didn't work, because both controllers moved the P1 selection.
