Right, Iíll see if I can find it cheap. Was really looking forward to playing the new one with the fancy graphics though. The remaster on pspro is kind of wonky I have to say, at one point Ellie and that lady friend you start out with disappeared and I couldnít kill any enemy but they couldnít do any damage either so I could simply walk past a couple sections.

I've had one audio bug in TLOU 2. Started getting intermittent sound then all sound vanished completely.

I had a bug where I collected a note, the game saved, I immediately got into some trouble so I reloaded. Took me to before the time I collected said note but this time it wasn't there to collect and not in my backpack either. Very strange.

    Spoiler free post

Just completed the game and have to say it is really good although as others have said a little bit padded out... did it in 25ish hours and killed almost every thing in sight with as much stealth as possible

Graphically is beautiful and packed with details.. like to the point where water literally is real... lovely to see on my launch day ps4

Gameplay is fun albeit terrifying fun... think I almost shat myself a few times!.. controls are good, weapons are good, pace is good, characters good..... music/score is awesome

Story is good and engaging and anyone wanting to know if worth getting

    Definitely!

I had a break of nearly a week in the middle of this (I assume - I had about 12/13hrs on the clock, though can't remember where I was in the story now). Only really had time to put maybe 30 min in here and there, so just played some MP stuff instead. Started back on it earlier in the week, and the part I'm at now feels a little bit slow; I like flashbacks as a narrative device, but I don't know if I'm onboard for flashbacks inside of flashbacks inside of flashbacks.

I'm reminded of Oli's review here where he said there were times he was a bit down on it (I'm roughly paraphrasing from memory here), but that it all came together so well that none of that mattered in the end. I'm thinking the bits I'm on now is the bits he meant.

It's still very good! Though I don't think it's quite up to the standard of the original (which is a very high bar to reach, anyway). It is mechanically a bit better though, mainly by virtue of being a pretty iterative sequel.

I glitched twice, I was able to clip into the downstairs of a warehouse and walk around it, but not interact with anything.

And again after falling off a ledge and dying the save state kept plopping me back at the exact point of dying, a death loop if you will, had to restart that encounter, grrr

Part 2 crashed on my 3 times and the saving philosophy of not saving at the point you save is janky as hell and meant I had to replay 2 hours to recollect a skill book I collected and then saved and quit after collecting. The game kind of forgot about the book.

Was extra odd though as the book was listed in my inventory but the skill tree was inaccessible.

    @Ror
Afternoon mate. I think it definitely helps to play it through in one sitting, as in to completion without any distractions, be it Master Chief in your case and M.Fenix in mine.

I think the combat is stunning in Part II but fully agree with you in the stuff you spoilered. I feel the combat scenarios have lots of replayibility, not by me as I sold mine but you get my point I hope.

I have reinstalled TloU on my ps4 as I never played the dlc, I did on ps3. I also fancied some mp, although I am mostly trash...as with most mp.
    ;)

If no one bites and you want to sell, I got £36 in CEX (or £40 voucher to use in store)

Don't forget to add some pubes though, they won't accept it without.

This game is really fucking long isn't it. The slow pace of everything is just doing my nut in. I get that TLOU1 was slow-paced throughout to help build Joel & Ellie's relationship but this time it's about revenge - it should be much faster paced. They got the violence spot-on; it should be full on savagery, but the exploration and constant padding just feels out of place.

@DUFFMAN5 Yeah, as I say, I played it 12-13 hours over a handful of days and it was excellent. Taking a break didn't really help, but also couldn't be helped.

The bits I'm on now are still really good, I think it's just that, being a bunch of flashbacks (and flashbacks within flashbacks without coming back to the main thread in between), it just feels like the main thread has ground to a halt for a few hours, right on top of a major confrontation.

Obviously I can't really judge it until I've finished it, but in the middle of this section, it feels a bit misjudged in structure. Someone said that it feels like a game and its own expansion mashed together, and that makes a lot of sense to me at this point of the game.
