|@mattyduk We have an FQA slot booked on Tuesday the 8th (the earliest one they had). It'll likely be in QA for at least a few days. Next Wednesday is doubtful unfortunately. On the plus side, Vita will have all of the fixes in|

And done. Infinite money, I own the universe.
Cool game, cheers dadrester (and crew).
(Infinite money bug is fixed with patch 1.02 by the way)
@neems actually, can I ask, how many hours did you put in?

@dadrester no problem. I don't think my wife was keen on me making Vostok portable soon anyway, after seeing the time I was sinking into the PS4 version
According to Steam, 64 hours
In my defence, I tend to leave it running in the background when my pc is on.
I don't know that getting rid of the infinite money is significant, as even before it happened I was earning nonillions(?) and beyond per second, it's not like there was anything I couldn't buy if I was so inclined.
It did occur to me though that past a certain point you could use standard notation to represent your income.
PS release it on Switch and I'll buy it again.

@neems There was a bug where the main economy was using "doubles" but the on planet one wasn't. Total balls up really given the nature of the game but we support up to ... errr... TRIGINTILLION
RE: Switch. I REALLY, REALLY want to do it. I'm just trying to convince BadLand they want to pay for it
If we do it it'll have some extra panache
Dadrester? You ever played American McGee's Scrapland?
It was a 3D game where you were a robot entering into a world governed by robots.
You were either on foot, traversing locations, or in a flying vehicle. You could just rush through the game, but on foot you had stealth, platforming, puzzles where you needed to body-swap and shooting mini-games.
The flying sections were even more involving, with hunt-and-kill, racing, escort and king-of-the-hill tasks.
You had several different vessels. You had three different weapon types and you could combine them to have several different offensive and defensive abilities. Kinetic (bullet weapons) for instance could throw up a "Dirty Cloud" that blocked beam weapons. Energy weapons had a "repulsor" that could push away missiles.
I was almost disappointed with Vostok, that combining three missile slots didn't give me Scrapland's Nuke.
Anyway, thank you for giving me a chance to relive those times.
I've played long enough now to leave you a positive review: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198049350749/recommended/656460
It was well worth the time and money. Keep it up man!
Points off for not having the last enemy be Vladimir Lenin however. Thought you were going for a theme like that ever since the first ones were mobsters.
MUST. CRUSH. CAPITALISM!

Having loads of fun with this. I'm enjoying taking my time with it rather than rushing through the soonest I'm able to (I have 300 sextillion but I'm still on Voltimus), but one thing that you might want to fix is the Casino unlocking. On the previous page you say it was fixed but I was still having issues with it. It says in the description that you need 200 blast barrage kills, but for me at least blast barrage wasn't tracking. A lot of trial and error later, turns out that what it does track is The Obliterator (three machine guns).
Other than that I've not noticed any other bugs, and like I say I'm really enjoying the game. I can't remember the last time I allowed myself to buy a Steam game outside of a sale (out of respect to my backlog), but I couldn't hold off in this instance, and I don't regret it one bit.
Edit: Oh, and I just had this happen. Was travelling around Galene and (I think) one of those giant pink worm things spawned. Only I dunno if it somehow didn't have AI or what, but it basically just stayed like shown in the screenshot. It didn't move, or react to being nudged/shot/anything. It's the only time this has ever happened, and I dunno how to trigger the glitch, so it's probably not worth even trying to fix (it's not a gamebreaker, obviously), but it was kind of cute, seeing it just sitting there like a giant space pill.

@DreadedWalrus Thank you for buying and for kind words!. The patch isn't live just yet. Hopefully next week. We were hoping to patch in KB&M remapping on PC too, but it's proving to be a right pain, as it breaks lots of other stuff, so we might hold fire on that until 1.03 which I'm tentatively calling the "Pluto IS a planet" patch
I seem to have hit a wall.
I'm at the final galaxy. I pretty much all ship upgrades, have conolised every planet, have gone back to bring others up to date with unlocmed buildings... but it's taking forever to make mo ey to buy a sigle building now. Starting to fwel the grind a bit.
@dadrester I notoced that Pluto was absent... does this mean it's being patched in?
@spamdangled Dunno yet... is it a planet or is it not?

Also 1.02 patch really should smooth out endgame economy, when it hits, hopefully next week some time.

Hit a wall too in the penultimate galaxy. Unlocked the bank but earning 1.2 trillion a second so it's well out of reach and nothing I build seems to increase my money coming in in a significant way. Been a pretty even ride to this point but I've been stuck for ages around 1 trillion a second income. Got a lot of enjoyment out of it until now but it's not fun waiting to buy a building at a time. Either I've missed something significant that boosts income or I've reached the point where I need to leave it for hours on end to play itself, which I've happily not needed to do yet.
Final, definitive 1.02 patch list:
Patch 1.02 - “Shut up, Jimmy!”:
Fixed a bug where buying multiple buildings at once would not tally correctly which meant Liquid processor and atmosphere plant didn’t unlock correctly.
Fixed a bug where buying multiple buildings at once would not tally correctly meaning cross building bonuses weren’t correct.
Fixed Objectives 525, 526 and 527 not unlocking.
Fixed currency out of range bug that would break the game when the player had a high enough income.
Fixed a bug where the unlock criteria for unlocking Casinos was referencing the wrong weapon.
Fixed a turret in Vent not damaging player.
Fixed a bug where some objectives that had been completed weren’t showing correctly.
It’s possible to shut Jimmy up, from the settings menu.
Jimmy’s call frequency dialed down from every 30 seconds to every 90 seconds.
Added the ability to adjust the volume of voices individually.
Added more lines for Jimmy so he doesn’t repeat himself as often (Limited to English).
Added effect to manager indicator to make it more obvious when they spawn.
Now when the the player flies over a dead exec they are removed from the radar.
Halved executive consumption, meaning they take twice the time to consume items.
Added a cool video glitch effect to changing solar system in the galactic map.
After level 20 enemies do incrementally more damage to the player.
Marauder (miniboss) enemy increased loot drop
Tweaked the time between groupings of enemies so things are a little less hectic.
Late game economy smoothed out. Buildings after the School are now cheaper to buy or give greater returns.
The targeting computer toggle state is now saved into the player profile.
Various other small tweaks and fixes.
[PS4] Added the ability to adjust the volume of voices on the controller.
I forget which exact ones, but there are a couple of buildings before you get to the bank which have significant earnings based on other buildings. Look for any building which has upgrades which increase profitability for every 'insert building name here'. You want 2 or more upgrades based on buildings which are cheaper than the one you're currently upgrading.
The other thing to look out for is floating managers who match your 'investment fund', or words to that effect. Make sure you have the radar upgrade to locate managers, and as soon as possible get the upgrade that gives a 2% chance for enemies to drop a manager.
Yes it's a bloody planet and I will arm wrestle anyone who says otherwise!
Finished the final galaxy. Cheers for the tip about banks, neems.
Was expecting something a bit more though from the ending... it's a little anticlimactic.
Not sure whether this is supposed to happen or not, but I've noticed that my Total Moolah Per Sec actually goes DOWN when I build some things.
Bug report: On Xbox, objectives 314, 316, 320 haven't unlocked despite having completed 471/594 objectives.
@spamdangled are these the "complete X objectives" ones? If so fixed in 1.02.
Are you sure it's not just dropping because of exec happiness? They don't drain as fast with the update. As for the ending... There's another one for all objectives.
@spamdangled are these the "complete X objectives" ones? If so fixed in 1.02.
I assume the infinite money glitch will be fixed too? I hit a the money cap and seem to have broken the game. I'm level 1776524423
@spamdangled Fuck. Yes it is but you won't level back down
For such an amazingly addictive game, I love the fact it fully loads from my PS4 dashboard to full in-game control in about 22 seconds. Good work Dre.
@dadrester Damn! I've reached auch a high level that even though the power of my weapons is around 2,500 they don't even touch the health bar of the weakest enemies.
