That Unplugged version of Layla just doesn't do it for me. It needs that Duane Allman riff.

Oh yeah! Forgot about Pulse. Worth it just for Shine On You Crazy Diamond!
I prefer Delicate Sound of Thunder.

Metallica Live Shit, although they did touch up the performances they sound so good I don't care.

Quite liked the first In Flames live DVD as well, 2 hours of playing an entire album and then loads of back catalogue songs, great stuff.

Generally any Pearl Jam stuff is excellent too

Blue Wild Angel is a good addition to any Hendrix collection but it's more for the history than the performance imo. It's good but a little inconsistent. Still, last ever recording (I think), so I like it.

    Monterrey is also amazing.
Forgot about that one, that is great. I got that on Blu-ray I'm sure.

I Might Be Wrong just for the beautiful rendition of Like Spinning Plates.

I really haven't listened to many live albums, I guess I prefer watching them.

Lads fiddling on laptops does not for a good live album make.
Good game of soggy biscuit though.

Hawkwind - Live Chronicles (the Elric one)
    Hawkwind - Palace Springs
Jimi Hendrix - Live at Winterland
    Tangerine Dream - Logos
Gary Numan - Living Ornaments (79/80/81)

And a few that are technically concert films rather than albums:

Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii (as good as it gets)
The Sisters of Mercy - Wake
Marillion - Recital of the Script
Roger Waters - The Wall (2014)
Ozric Tentacles - Live at the Pongmaster's Ball

Spiritualized at the Albert Hall is an all-time favourite I think.

Someone must have mentioned The Who at Leeds already.

In fact I'm just having a little listen to Bowie Live at Santa Monica 72, and it's super awesome!

That new Public Service Broadcasting live from Brixton album is pretty great.

Given how many mentions Daft Punk have had, others evidently disagree!

Good call. Though I prefer the solo renditions, the bass in the IMBW version is way out of sync with the piano in places.

IMO this is the definitive version:

Edit: I'd also like to add Kid A Live on Canal+ (which was sort of released as an album in the deluxe edition of Kid A), as it's AFAIK the only time they've ever played the full version of Motion Picture Soundtrack live. And it's quite something.
