But then one of my overall favourites of the entire series was the balloon one from the first series and everyone else I know thinks that is totally 'meh'
The balloon one? I don't recall. But then I can only really remember off the top of my head Sardines being the first of the first and then the silent one with the slapstick burglars being the second of the first.

Looking on the BBC website, I seem to remember each of the episodes from the picture at least for series 2 and on. The episode 'Last Gasp' from S1 had Tamsin Greig in the picture holding a balloon, so I guess that might be it but I don't remember who anyone is, or what they do.

In other news they're repeating 'La Couchette' from the start of S2 next week. I don't know if they're planning to repeat all of S2, but in that case next up is 12 Days of Sheridan Smith and later Cold Comfort which have both been repeated fairly recently I recall.

And they have some of the scripts up for download as pdfs if you're a fan, including the hotel one from this series, 'Zanzibar' and the aforementioned '12 Days'.

I still don't recall that one at all, and I usually remember things I've seen with Tamsin Greig in. Must've been pish then.

That's the one. It's a wonderful little farce.

To my shame, I came late to this. Just started watching them this week, and just finished the 12 Days of Christine one, which was absolutely superb. The others have been good, but this one stood out.

To my shame, I'm a fan of the twisty ones, and 12 Days is one of the best twisty ones. I'd need to revist the Sphynx crossword one before I could confirm that Christine is the top one for me, but it's certainly up there.

As a massive cryptic crossword fan the Sphinx one is very much a favourite, but I think Christine beats it, and is my favourite overall. I also think that Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room from the last series edges Sphinx into 3rd place. I thought that was so beautifully done.

It's one of those series that's so varied there are bound to be hits and misses, but when it's good it can be properly amazing, and when it's not it's still better than about 90% of the rest of the stuff on telly.

I didn't actually enjoy Christine the first time I watched it. I think I was too invested in figuring out the twist that time and figured it out early enough for the rest of it to feel a little bit laboured. But going back and knowing what it's about from pretty much the start, it felt beautifully and economically put together the second and third times round.

There's apparently a live episode being broadcast this Halloween.

It was announced back in June, haven't seen any further updates since then.

Have any of you guys seen "Nuts in May" (it is on iplayer now) It is a Mike Leigh drama and I can't believe the two leads are not 90% inspiration for TLoG Denton's, especially Keith for Harvey.

Any fan of Inside Number 9 should watch season 2, episode 6 of Atlanta. Itís called ĎTeddy Perkinsí, I think. Itís so Inside Number 9. And itís amazing. Donald Glover is the most talented man in the world.

Had such a big hunch that they would riff off of ghost watch, being British horror fans. I enjoyed it but it was never really going to have the same impact, actually watching live may well have helped I guess.

Oh shit, just realised I Ballsed up the spoiler post

Watched it on iPlayer and was genuinely confused as to why they would put it up on online with broken audio. Kept checking my phone, headphones etc Started to think that it was temporary and that a non faulty version was going to be added later Well played

Also wonder how long Reece will keep himself off twitter
