Got a Netflix thread so here's one for prime! Dunno how good it is but I'm about to find out. Hardcore Henry is on Prime. |

Good shout and season 2 just arrived. It's very very good. -
I bet someone complains because there's already a Prime thread but that's not about streaming so I support your thread.
Please Like Me, an Australian comedy drama. There's occasional gay sex so don't watch it with your granny. -

Registered 8 years agoLucifer is very good if you like the police-procedual format, but with humour.
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is well worth a watch if you like anime. Also directed by the same guy behind Attack on Titan.
EDIT: how could I forget Mr. Robot. Probably because the second season wasn't brilliant compared to the first season. But still worth a watch that season.

Registered 15 years agoEnjoyed Man In The High Castle S2: it started slowly, but really built up the tension and excitement towards the end.
I'd propose:
- Halt & Catch Fire
- Red Oaks
- The Girlfriend Experience
- Parks and Rec (think they've got the entire series now)

Registered 12 years agoI'll chuck in a recommendation for 'Hand of God'. Ron Perlman, one of the later Desperate Housewives and Bubbles off of The Wire lead the cast.
It divided the critics. I'm close to the end and enjoying it -

Registered 17 years agoIf you like Lucifer, I'd recommend Sleepy Hollow as being much in the same vein. Also it's got John Noble in it which is always a bonus. -

The Night Manager
Bit James Bond, more realistic though. Hugh Laurie as charismatic arms dealer is fantastic (so is Tom Hiddleston). -
