Yeah. I tried S5 but it really didn't do much for me. |

Registered 12 years agoWatching some of the news series while I work now. I'm with Mola though, it started dropping after Ragnar died. More and more of the original cast just keep dropping away as it goes on. Still enjoying, but I'm glad they aren't dragging it out anymore.
Apparently the creators already have a semi sequel in development with Netflix. Still with Vikings but 100 years in the future. -

Registered 10 months agoI probably shouldn't have read that spoiler! Thought you meant the mid-season bit -

Registered 17 years agoIt did dip after that event, but for me it's still done enough to keep me watching.
And the funeral in the last season/half season was both amazing and heart breaking. When I go - I'd love a send off like that. -

Registered 18 years agoI didn't even make it through S4 without losing interest. Think I got 7 or 8 episodes in before getting bored.

Registered 17 years agoI have to say that they've redeemed themselves quite a bit with the the latest season so far - and they're not been afraid to kill people off to improve things. -

I immediately stopped watching at that point because I knew it wouldn't be the same show from that point onwards. Shame. It was good.
I've tried to maintain my interest in Vikings, but the show just hasn't been the same (post S4 spoilers) since Ragnar died. I don't think the new(ish) actors on the show are nearly as good. -

Had a "oh shit, they've just given up and surprise released it on Prime" moment just now.
Then "oh... Dune 1984..." -

Registered 17 years agoNew episode of American Gods is up - I enjoyed the first season, the second not as much, but will give it a try. -

Registered 8 years agoDropped American Gods. Just no desire to watch the third episode.
Anyway, who has watched "I Care A Lot"? Good performances, especially from Dinklage, who I generally feel is way over-rated, but not a real classic. Review scores on Amazon are weird as hell though. Many, many 1 star reviews for what at worst was a very well-made and well-acted, but ultimately "okay" movie. Quite bizarre.
Anyway, I feel they fluffed the ending.
Marla should have been incapacitated during the shooting and her girlfriend killed. Then her mother, who she hated, would have gotten guardianship of her and her fortune. Feels better than the Chekov's Gun ending I saw coming a mile off.

I digress.
Wayne is also a good show on Prime right now. Reminiscent of "The End of the F**king World" but American and with more fist fights. -
Oh yeah Wayne is great. I wish it wasn't made for Google's YouTube experiment since it might have got a second series otherwise.
