Registered 13 years agoI genuinely came across The Lovers Guide whilst searching for 3D movies. It's erm....fully explicit. Don't forget to remove it from your watchlist -
Is it still hairier than modern filth -

Excellent! I think I made it about halfway through season 3 when I was binge watching it on some dodgy streaming thing. -

Registered 13 years agoInterstellar is on now. A movie rust divides opinions but I enjoyed it. I like out for the audio visual feast and journey it takes rather than liking it for the more traditional story/characters reasons. Just know that if you do watch then you'll be sick out hearing murf. -

Sad to say but that was probably going to take up my weekend getting nostalgic, but then I watched the first few minutes of the first episode and realised he's clearly plagiarised Micky Flanagan's entire act, but without the comical accent.
Whole of Seinfeld now on Prime.

Really liking Lucifer, its not earth shattering TV and it doesn't push the boundarys of the format but it good fun.
Lucifer is very good if you like the police-procedual format, but with humour.
Thanks for the recommendation. -

Registered 7 years agoOh, and the full season of Sneaky Pete is up today, if you liked the pilot - which I did. Guy on the run (Giovanni Ribisi) infiltrates the family of someone who he shared a cell with. -
Anyone watched Goliath? Any good? -
Goliath is good but, considering the quality of some recent dramas of that ilk, not amazing. A second season could get interesting considering the relationships etc are formed. -
Cheers, I went with Fargo instead. -

Registered 7 years agoGimme Danger, the recent Stooges documentary, was aded a few days ago. It was ok but kind of safe and glossed over any rock and roll excesses.
Another Earth - is on the "movies with limited time" list and is a nice indie scifi.
Cell 211 - excellent Spanish prison riot movie.
Your Sister's Sister - Mark Duplass, Emily Blunt indie romcom/relationship drama. -
Watched first three eps of Goliath. Really liking it. Legal drama that reminds me of Damages a little, but Billy Bob is great. Had me laughing a fair bit.
