One of the biggest questions and no one has asked that i can remember is the Nintendo account tied down to the console like the wii u was, lets say you sold your wii u and then got another one you could not download your purchased digital game. this was is one of the biggest issues with Nintendo on all there systems. I have searched for a answer but got nothing so far |

Registered 16 years agoWe don't know yet. It's unfortunate and a cause for concern for many people given we're just over 40 days off, but nothing official yet.

Registered 6 years agoWell i hope that they change their ways soon, online being paid and all.
Its strange they have not addressed this major issue. lots of folks will not even touch a system that has this kind of aggressive DRM.
On top of all the bad switch news this would be the cherry on top of the cake 2017.

You may have mentioned it a few hundred times before.
This is why I generally don't bother with nintendo consoles until they're cracked wide open or emulated. -

Registered 16 years agoBy the end of the 3DS they weren't that bad I lost my 3DS at the end of the year and all it took was a phone call and a form to get my games transfered, including my ambassador games (which i somehow got when Nintendo sent me the wrong 3DS back after a repair).
Fingers crossed this time it'll just be an account sign in. -

Is it really that strange? It's Nintendo. It seems they intentionally just screw with things. Just look at this voice chat debacle. Why is something so simple made so convoluted? Why is there forced smartphone use for VC? Nintendo is run by an out of touch group of old men.

Registered 16 years ago@jonsaan I just had to sign the statement on the form that said that the police no longer gave reports for missing items. I tried linking my new New 3DS (stupid bloody name) a couple of days later and i had access to my full account.
Edit: Of course i didn't even speak to the police but don't tell Nintendo.....

Registered 16 years agoYou know what I'm going to wait and see what the it is rather than make up something that fits my agenda. -
i always have black agendas, boring i know, so this year i bought a funky orange one, same size same evrything but new year new colour. Thing is in brought daylight its more pink then orange, Salmon i suppose, and now i cant really use it in public, so i was mistaken in switching this time i guess -

I really don't like spending money on games that eventually I won't be able to play.
Actually I'm pretty happy with Nintendo since their consoles are generally pretty well emulated and cracked. So when I buy a game I know I'm probably to be able to enjoy it after the console is dead. -

Damnit man, the word 'agendas' doesn't make sense. Agenda is the plural. Agendum is the singular.

Registered 16 years agoThis is as good a place as any, got my 2DS, it came with a little red book that had a pin code on it. I went to the club Nintendo website to whack it in, however it says some of the characters are invalid
Is this because the console is old (it was second hand) and they changed around the club Nintendo stuff?
Or am i entering it in the wrong place? -

Registered 17 years ago@THFourteen Club Nintendo is dead. They killed the whole thing off a year ago. I spent an evening just before the deadline digging about 50 codes from all my boxes so I could get a Mario Kart t-shirt and an Animal Crossing CD.
