You know when you wake up after sleeping on your arm and you have no control over it and it flops around like a dying fish? Imagine if you had arms like in ARMS you could end up destroying your bedroom.

Other than that I have nothing interesting to say about this game.

I'm hoping this is to fighting games what Rocket League is to sports games. A seemingly simple and accessible game that has plenty of depth thanks to the kinds of moves you can pull off.

It's looking better with each and every video, and usually fighting games aren't my thing. I do love Punch out!! though.

I'm planning to. It's just a matter of when I jump in. I really want to finish of at least some of my Wii U backlog first as I have a track record of not returning to old consoles once something new comes out.

There's a pretty corny video about each of the game's characters. It goes some way to try and demonstrate some of the game's depth. I can't see there being much of a campaign with just five characters, but it still looks great.

According to this article there are more than more than 5 characters:

so maybe there are more unlockable ones and these are the default choices. Unless something got lost in translation and the other characters are planned as DLC or something.

Anyway, I think this looks like it could be good fun if it has enough depth, and I recall reading good things from those who attended the preview events. I'd quite like a joy-con bundle with this game.

I could have sworn that similar to Splatoon, they said they'd drip feed more stages and playable characters over time.

Edge haven't reviewed the game in the cover issue, it's only a preview (based on a run down of reviews in issue 306).
