Go up the tower at night time, it's easier to spot the orange glow when it's dark.

Second Divine Beast down, was exploring and found myself in the Rito region so piled through that, magnificent stuff. Think now to get some more shrines complete, have ten hearts and one stamina upgrade so think I will try and get one of each next.

Been playing a fair bit of this again with the Champions Ballard DLC. The opening segment was annoying , but I've really enjoyed being back. So far enjoyed the shrines and i love the way you just get absorbed by the game and you end up doing a bit of climbing here, wandering of here, a bit of foraging there. Such a relaxing game to play.

Probably halfway through it now, doing the odd miss side quest as well, so yeah, happy days.

I'll be doing a replay this year, with all the DLC included (I have it but haven't played it yet). I started the Master mode but stopped playing after a handful of hours, t'was too soon for a second run through.

Aye, I'll pick up the game again next year and do another run with the added DLC I reckon.

Good progress, got my extra heart and stamina bar thing (and another shrine done in addition) and now balls deep in the Yiga Clan base. Got a few things on next week so would love to get a third divine beast complete tomorrow.

You're speeding through it! How many korok seeds/shrines do you have?

@DangerousDave_87 yeah I really am, just entered the third divine beast (the Gerudo one, had done quite a bit of the desert stuff before wandering off so just picked up where I left off)! Have to go out in a bit but hopefully will finish that off tonight :)

I literally only have six Korok seeds! Not sure how many shrines but have done quite a lot of those though, spending a fair bit of time trying to hunt them down between other stuff.

Bosh, three beasts done! Died the first attempt on that boss but once I realised the perfect dodge for a flurry whatever was the key, didn't touch me the second time.

Interesting video showing almost fighting game-style advanced combat techniques... had no idea this sort of thing was even possible with the combat system, tbh.

*sigh* for some reason the WiiU doesn't recognise my undamaged, unscratched disc. Not that I'd get to play much Zelda with a move happening by the end of the month. But still!

Considering I have more games to play on the Switch than time to play them, am I missing out by not getting the DLC and selling my copy?

Buried in Skyrim and Mario at the moment, then want to get Doom and LA Noire. Ordinarily on a Nintendo console I would hoard decent games like a squirrel filling my cheeks with nuts in preparation for a long cold winter, but I don't feel like that with the Switch.

The best thing about the DLC is the Hero's Path function. It's so useful that it boggles the mind how it's not included in the base game.

I finished the game though. Had about 110 shrines.

Is it worth getting still? I dont want to go back and replay it all on hard mode so it would just be the extra content.

Some helpful hints would be nice. Feel I'm wandering around not doing much and getting owned by certain mobs.

Just got the quest to visit the first location after finding the fairy fountain.

This is my 3rd attempt to get into it. So far I am further than I was previously.

@pelican_ i found exploring and going to places if never been too before helped. I tended to aim for a tower and try and get to the top of it and then I headed to the next via whatever got in the way.

Avoid centaurs and be aware that different colours of mobs are tougher. Also have the slate set up to find shrines and explore any you find.

Didn't click for me until about twenty hours in.

Spent a good day playing it and have cleared a shit load of side quests, shrines and upgrading armour etc at the great fairies. Have turned it off for the night having just entered the final divine beast (the Goron one), unlikely to have much time on it tomorrow but hopefully can find the time to clear it.

    What a game!

I'm on about 100 hours and I've only done 2 beasts. Started playing again yesterday and I'm heading to my third next (have Rito and goron ones to go).

Hard to give "hints" just explore and find your own groove to follow. I played it by exploring each segment throughly and finding stuff to do as I went, dig into the quests that are relevant to where you are etc.

Id there any way of going around the castle without accidentally activating the final boss battle, even though youve already done it?

Sure, I spent a lot of time exploring the castle without triggering the final battle. As long as don't walk into that room, you'll be fine.

You'll know exactly which room when you get there. You can explore 99% of the castle otherwise.

I think I've asked this already, but where can I purchase shock arrows please? Returned to it this morning after a long break and I've lost my way. Just took down my second devine beast (rubdania I think!) at the volcano.

I've set myself a task to complete all my single player backlog before parting with anymore money.

@CompetitiveDad I saw one of the stalls near the back of Gerudo Town selling each type of arrow :)

Funny enough I completely restarted this last week after putting in 100 hours or so before and today I saw my first bear and found the the horse shrine so I do wonder what other stuff I have missed. Its just so good on every level for me.

What order are people doing the Divine beasts in?

Is there are recommended order apart from starting with the Zora one?
