| Hi. I'm thinking of selling my gaming pc but I really don't know the best way to do it. I brought the pc September 2016 with dreams of playing wow, and entering the realm of pc fps. But like most 38 year olds it's hard to find the time plus I'm a console gamer at heart. The pc Spec is ( I don't really know much about this stuff ) gtx 1080 8gb, 3.9 ghz turbo,16gb ram, Samsung 500gb ssd, 2tb secondary, vr ready, windows 10. Also the benq 27inch xl2720z 144hz monitor, Corsair sp2500 232 watt speakers. I fell for the pretty lights and brought the Razer black widow chroma keyboard, deathadder, naga, firefly mousematt and kraken headphones. And an ak racing chair. I think all this plus a few extras cost around £2000+, I was thinking £1500 is a fair price, what do you guys think and could you maybe recommend somewhere to sell it to. Thanks for your time. |

Registered 17 years agoThat's a pretty damn good machine.
I'd say 1500 is on the low side of a fair price.
You may get more by selling the flashy mouse/headphones/chair bits seperately from the main PC unit. -

Registered 6 years agoThe PC itself is around £1000 I imagine so when chucking in all those other bits I would say £1500 is a very good price.
For that amount of money I would say avoid ebay (the cut is percentage based) and try local advert platforms like trade it and Facebook groups. -

Registered 5 years agoThanks for your comments. £1500 is a low price but I'm hoping for a quick sale. eBay is the easiest option but the charges are a lot. This has more or less everything you need too get started in pc gaming for cheap, maybe someone here is interested. -

And ignore Sharz. He thinks love is an invention to sell valentines cards because all human emotion is a marketing construct. -

Registered 5 years agoI have a buyer. A guy a work who's a huge Warcraft fan is happy to buy it. Thanks for your help anyway. I've been a long time reader of the forum but this has been my first post. I remember when the site was orange, laughing when curtains was first posted, Otto getting his GameCube and his apprehension with wind waker and Errol well being Errol. Ok back into the shadows for me. -

Registered 7 years agoI fell into PC gaming around the same time, with a similar spec. I haven't been able to look back though, love it. You'd be hard pressed to find a PC and a monitor at that spec for that price. -
Bump. The guy at work is no longer intrested, so before I put it on eBay is anyone here interested. I think £1500 is a very good price. Obviously it's collect in person. Thanks.
