Think it might be worth posting a thread for this. Who is going to purchase this? Bethesda have came out and said they can't confirm what version of the game it will be. Would be interesting if it came with content not found on other platforms which Nintendo may have paid for. |

Registered 10 years agoI have it on PC so have no interest, I wouldn't expect any decent exclusive content, it'll probably be the standard version.
Probs only of interest to those who want portable Skyrim. -

Registered 10 years agoI have it 5 times. Had it been a launch game, I probs would have got it, but being made till Oct or whenever for it has put me off. I want an ES6 announcement by then!
So, no. Not right away at least. -

Registered 16 years agoI'll probably have it at launch. The thought of playing it on a portable console is enough for me, and was one of the selling points for the Switch for me (though not the main one). I do have it on PC but frankly it's getting on a bit, meaning it's a bit too choppy to enjoy. It's probably borderline weaker than the Switch just now
The footage they released in the announcement video featured foliage from the enhanced edition (someone did screenshot comparisons on Reddit and it was clear as day), but it's likely that was just the target at the time so I'd be surprised if that ends up being the case for the full game. -

Registered 14 years agoProbably not me. I had my fun with it on PC, don't really feel the need to play it again. -

Registered 18 years agoI definitely will. I had the standard version on PS3, so I'd really like it to include the DLCs which I never played. -

Registered 7 years agoSuffered through it on PS3, playing again now with the SE on PC. Couldn't justify it again. -
I have it on PC but it's not the type of game I feel like sitting in front of a PC with, so I might consider getting it on Switch at some point. -

Registered 9 years agoOnly if it launches for £15-20, otherwise no way. It'll be 6 years old when it releases. -

Registered 13 years agoIt is the reason I am buying a switch. For years I have wanted Oblivion on my Vita, the fact Nintendo are making their first sensible decision in 20 years by letting me have an Elder Scrolls on my commute means I have to put my money where my mouth is. -

Skyrim has a more realistic aesthetic, I definitely prefer the visuals of Elder Scrolls to Zelda, also mods.

Registered 10 years agoThe fact they can't talk about it should tell us is most likely the 360/ps3 version -

Registered 15 years agoI'm probably in the minority, but I just didn't find Skyrim to have much replayability.

Registered 14 years agoLooks like this will have amiibo support. Really didn't want to start collecting them... -

Registered 16 years agoI know it was always likely, but I'm glad they've confirmed the Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn expansions are all included. Motion controls are nice as an optional thing you'll probably use once then never ever use again
Amiibo support isn't something I expected and I'm not sure I'd bother, much as I didn't with Breath of the Wild despite already owning some, as it felt like cheating to me. -
so i am buying skyrim again then

Registered 8 years agoTempted to pick it up and try it again. I got 50 hours in last time (And first time) and got burnt out on it pretty quickly. Portable play might keep me at it this time. -

Registered 16 years agoIt's nice to have it available but depends when it comes out as to whether i'll buy it, already played it on the PC years ago, and the characters and storylines are so wooden i'm not sure there's any attraction to play it again.
Xenoblade 2, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, Zelda (not played yet), all trump this for me -

Registered 12 years agoI'll be purchasing Skyrim on Switch, but only when it drops to a reasonable price, say below £30. It's a 6 year old game after all.
I've played Skyrim through 3 times on X360, but never played any of the DLC, so I suppose that's a reason to play through again, as well as the novelty value of Skyrim-on-the-go. -

Registered 16 years agoI'm up for another go. I never did give it a full play through back on 360. Price has to be right though. Sub £30 for me. -
Zelda ruined Skyrim for me. Won't be getting it. -
Doubt I'll get this again. A couple of hundred hours when it was on pc probably is enough for one lifetime. -

Registered 15 years agoNot really up for this again. Enjoyed it hugely at the time and played it through with two or three different builds, but I can't see myself enjoying it having played Zelda through. -
I am ...tripple... dipping (I think it will be the third time I have bought it). I love the game and I will really enjoy being able to carry it with me.
