@Addy_B
I do have maybe one or two more games than you but I've had my Switch for a lot longer. By the end of the year I'm confident that you'll no doubt surpass my collection. -

I also can't remember what a lazy afternoon feels like. -
@rice_sandwich
I think steamworld heist will be my last one of the year. -
I picked up tiny metal this morning and the fire emblem DLC. Am really considering enter the gungeon. -
@monkman76
No, I don't. But think of the joy and many blessings that small children to parents bring at christmas time. What a wonderful time of year. -
@duffking
I seem to have 'rescued' a few npc's now. One obviously opens the place where you spend credits to unlock stuff for the main game but the others so far don't appear to be able to help. Again is this all end game stuff? -

Registered 15 years ago@Addy_B a few only appear in the gungeon itself with pop up shops, a couple like the orc and alien will also open shops in breach once you've purchased something from them inside the gungeon. -

That's cool. It's bedlam at mine. 2 of my daughters don't like each other so it's a battle stopping them having meltdowns in between dealing with their other traits like diving headfirst off tables and sofas and other life threatening activities.

@Addy_B Is that the moment where you buy another game you'll never find the time to play, EVER?

Although by the time you've sorted dinner and done all your chores or exercise or whatever you really need to just go to bed

If anyone wants anything a bit different I'd highly recommend the next penelope. It's pretty sweet. -

Well I have actually played all my games now. I'm actually quite pleased with my return actually. 50+ games and there's actually only say 2-3 I really don't care that much for.

Lol no more for us. 4 is my lot. At least my lad is 17 now and has turned out well. My eldest daughter is a dancing prodigy in the making (she keeps winning street dance comps) My other 2 daughters are the ones that will be the constant challenge (Autism) both non verbal and absolutely crackers (in good and bad ways) but my switch keeps me from losing my marbles at times.

Well I've had a good run but I finally made a dud purchase.
The offender is heart & slash and I feel a bit frustrated by it to be honest.
I love the design, the soundtrack is seriously good and it's got a decent gameplay loop. The problem for me is the camera. It seriously hinders the flow of the gameplay and it makes the combat extremely hard work for attack and defence. The controls themselves feel a bit 'floaty' and it needs a bit more oomph in it. What I mean by this is that your attacks feel a bit light weight and at times I couldn't tell if I'd actually connected
Like I said it's frustrating as it has all the makings of a great rogue like. Good weapons and upgrade system. I will definitely have to sink more time in to decide whether to dump it for good.

Registered 9 years agoI got it too Addy. I like me a decent roguelike/lite. You can actually change the sensitivity. It doesn't look like it but when you click on the camera box, the checkbox partially fills up, changing the sensitivity.
A ridiculous UI decision but it did help me start to enjoy it. You're right the camera is way too fast otherwise. -
@Ghibli
Yeah I've changed the sensitivity but I still find the viewpoint a bit off putting. Maybe I'll get used to it.
