| shame really, I've always liked his videos but he has some pretty extreme views on race and immigration. I've been having a read of his Twitter and he's either having some kind of meltdown or he's just a simpleton, either way, it's a shame these YouTube characters don't seem to have any kind of semblance of how their views may affect their generally younger audience. |

Registered 13 years agoI'll admit I've only watched one JonTron video; his Hercules games review, which was hilarious, but for some reason didn't make me want to watch more of his stuff. Don't follow the guy's work regularly and have never seen any of his streams. If he's a cunt in general, then that won't surprise me. -

Oh but the richest black person commits more crimes than the poorest white person purely by the virtue of their skin colour, not for socio-economic reasons.
If you're siding with David Duke in an argument, then wow you fucked up in life. No clue how these people, whose job relies on their brand, are ok with being known to be so terrible. I would ask for him to stop, but the insanity of saying these things without sources and getting called out for it, is too good not to continue to watch.

Registered 13 years agoI just listened to the whole two hours and it's pretty bad. He starts off wanting to defend white Americans wanting the country to remain white, saying they should be allowed to say they want to remain the majority and they fear being seen as racist. So far so not so controversial, he sees it as hypocritical that white people seemingly can't express their views like other races can. When he's pushed a little though he really does start to spew some quite remarkable bollocks and simplistic world views, the kind of stuff someone might have at the age of 15 before they've become a more rounded and reasonable person.
He basically states that Mexicans only go to America to get benefits and send them back home, that's blacks are responsible for most of the crime in the country, that Europe is having race riots in the streets, that the Irish weren't really discriminated against in America, and if they were it was maybe because they were bad people. He states that black lives matter is not wanting to discuss race and promotes violence
He goes on and on and on digging himself a bigger and bigger hole, armed with views he's formed without facts and having clearly only ever read select articles on. He sways between seeking to say things more desperately just to try and win a point and seeming just a little naive and stupid and yet there's also the feeling he's holding back time and time again from what he really thinks, which is clearly a far more racist tone than he's already shown.
He basically just your typical 'other races are all bad' simpleton who has no grasp whatsoever of anything in any meaningful scale. As I say it's the ill educated rantings of someone with a lot to say without the intelligence to say it. My favourite part is, after explaining the 'problem' the country has with Mexicans and blacks, that he then tells us that discrimination no longer exists in America and anyone who says otherwise is talking nonsense.
