There is still plenty of irrational hate for Nintendo, so the thread title is fine .gif) There is irrational hate for everything on the internet though, no need to single out any company, TV show, film or anything else out when it comes to seething hatred without logic. Sometimes it comes from a reasonable place, but just gets exaggerated to the point of ridiculousness. That's just how the internet works. |

Remember when the Wii U just came out and we kept on hearing about how it was all about 60fps gaming? PC and Wii U all the way! PS3 *hock* *spit* and 360 *hock* *spit* are soooo bad. All the games are soooo bad, so unworthy, unplayable because 30FPS.
Yet now I don't hear a peep about Breath of the Wild's constant frame rate struggles dropping to 20fps, instead I'm told it's the game of the year, best game of all time. What's with your newfound appreciation for low frame rates, you filthy, hypocritical spunk goblins? -
Well, there we have the "irrational" part again. Just the same story when it comes to PC/PS4/Xbox One. Just read a DF article. The importance of framerate and resolution fluctuate wildly. -
I don't really care for that plumber chap who appears in their games all the time. -

Registered 16 years agoI do remember some people trying to pretend it was this massive thing that EVERYONE was on about, but it wasn't really. Some people did, sure, but to say that minority were representative of everyone else would definitely come under the thread title as Irrational Hatred.
