On the map overview screen I used to be able to press left trigger to see all the weekly and daily activities. It doesn't seem to do anything anymore, have they taken that out??

Yes and no,if you are looking for the milestones they are now on the individual location map screens, look for the gold symbols. Generally you redeem them from the vendors at the relevant location that have a pulsing star on them. They will also indicate what to do to trigger their reward.

Finally getting stuck into Forsaken, although logged into find kicked from the Golden Age PS4 guild.

Must be very exclusive and my activity too low. Apologies for that.

Will see if another guild will take a poor scrub :)

They clearouts of inactive members every few months. They use the Band app to chat these days. You could also pm artforthemorbid on these forums too

@rep- hiya, I messaged you on PSN but didn't receive a response. Basically what gooner said. You're more than welcome, but we do ask all clan members to use BAND so we can chat about the new Spider-man game.

As much as, gameplay-wise, Forsaken is the best Destiny has ever been IMO, the drastic decrease in the amount of loot in Y2 is tempting me towards Spider-Man...

It feels like there are about 10 weapons you can get from regular drops, plus Gambit and Dreaming City gear. That's about it. Considering they basically wiped Y1 stuff off the map, there's a distinct lack of good stuff to chase. Edge Transit is a meme by now but goddamn if it isn't a little disheartening to get your tenth, but no Y2 exotics yet.

After the ridiculoud exotic drop rate in Y1, admittedly this feels like they went the opposite way. Even Prime Engrams are a lot easier to find.

I did get an exotic helmet, but it seemed kinda weird and not that good. Decent light level though, so I'm keeping it.

Yeah, I'm very happy that exotics are rare, Y1 was ridiculous. Would be nice if there was a slight bias towards Y2 exotics though, so far I've gotten 2 and both were Y1.

Concern is more with legendaries. So far I've gotten tons of them and the loot pool is tiny, I've had dupes x10 of everything and that's about a dozen weapons total. Looking online, there don't seem to be many more to chase. Couple of Gambit weapons and that's it. I got a god roll Duke 44 hand cannon and I can't see anything topping it, so short of exotics and Gambit stuff I'm basically done until Black Armory is out. Plus being able to see everything you've earned in Collections makes it even more stark, I've got about 5 things I'm missing and it's been out a week.

They should have found a way to integrate Y1 weapons too, or at least more of them. I can see why they talked about 'your 10th Better Devils will be different to your first' now, they weren't joking about all the dupes...

Nothing major though, with Code of the Missile, who needs a gun? :)

@stevethemeat Not confirmed but according to dataminers the recommended is 550 and the minimum is 520 for access.

That would be the same as the ascendant challenge... which is already near impossible at 520, if you don't have a class with a strong super attack.

I don't know how well-off the biggest streamers are the moment, but I don't think anyone's even reached 550 yet. Getting world fist in this raid might take even longer than usual.

I'll be there at 7pm anyway.

@Malek86 I've seen a few that have reached 550 now but they're few and far between.

I really don't like how the only people have a real chance of finishing the raid at launch are those that can grind Destiny everyday, it encourages an unhealthy amount of playtime. I mean I feel like I've had to play the game every night just so I can get high enough to take a quick look at the raid on launch night.

@Switch024 my god, how the hell did someone even reach 550 already?

I don't think there's any repeatable activity that gives you powerful gear yet, it's all daily and weekly challenges/bounties. And the occasional prime engram, but I've been playing a lot and I've only got 7-8 of those in the last ten days.

Looking forward to peoples' opinions on the raid. I've only ever played one raid a single time, Leviathan, and while I enjoyed it I found it extremely mechanic heavy and reliant on insta-kill timers, and things like the stealth sections and the circuit running would have been extremely frustrating if I didn't have a sherpa explaining everything.

Honestly I just wanna shoot enemies, maybe some light puzzling but not 'we've got 5 seconds, I shoot X,Y,Z, you shoot Y,Z,X, team 2 shoots Z,X,Y, while this guy runs in circles, GO GO GO!'

Leviathan is the worst raid they've done IMO. I always loved running the raids on D1 and would spend most of my time doing them, it's something I've missed with D2, really hope Last Wish is the real deal.

Never played Vault of Glass, which still sounds like the best raid they ever did, were the others as heavily geared towards puzzles/mechanics as Leviathan? I felt like that was 80% puzzles to 20% combat, whereas I'd want it the other way round.

    @Switch024

Thatís the nature of this type of game tho right?

Thereís got to be some elite content for those who can spend 10+ hours a day playing.

Made my peace with that in my WoW days years ago.

That's one of the reasons why I don't play Leviathan. Too heavily puzzle focused as I watched the whole run on YouTube a few times. Vault Of Glass is the only raid I had ever played.

@THFourteen Yeah but even the guys who have been playing 10+ hours a day are struggling to reach the level they're supposed to be for it. The requirements are just slightly too high, I reckon it'll be another 2 to 3 weeks before anyone playing a normal amount can realistically complete it.

@GarlVinland VOG was the simplest raid, in terms of mechanics. Many of the objectives required you to merely hold a position. Others just required you to kill a number of enemies before they wiped you out, no specific order or anything. Technically, it wasn't that hard to grasp.

Yet it was probably the hardest raid at launch, because just like now, people didn't really have enough time to prepare (progression in D1 at launch was horrendously slow), and while the activity is supposed to be level 26, later enemies are actually level 28. So if you go in with a team of players at 26, you'll get a hefty damage penalty against Atheon.

I think most people prefer other raids, aside from the nostalgia factor, but VOG was good if you asked me. King's Fall was a bit too mechanics-heavy, and Crota's End was just a slog, what with the super slow darkness walk and the bridge that must be cleared one player at a time. Wrath of the Machine was very good too, however. Maybe Bungie was burned by that? I remember the world first for WotM took merely 2 hours and half (compared to 7 for KF, 10 for VOG, etc).

Never played the D2 raids, but I'd like to try one day. At least the raid lairs. Not so crazy about leviathan, it does sound like you'll wipe the moment any one player is slightly less than prepared.

Raid is being streamed, and the enemies in the very first encounter are 560 LL. Holy crap. It will be ages before normal players can actually finish it.

Edit: and the second encounter is 565. This just gonna escalate, isn't it.

Edit 2: third encounter is 570. Honestly, feels like these people should just give up and come back when they are stronger. But that would look really bad for Bungie, wouldn't it.

Did a little sneak peak at the raid last night and agreed that we are very much under level. Even if players are at the recommended or just above by the look of it they need to come back stronger.

I'm actually very surprised waking up this morning and finding that streamers are still going and not even a world's first yet.

Damn this raid is going to be a problem.

The recommended level is 550, but it actually escalates with ever encounter until the last boss is 580, so you need to be way stronger than the recommended level.

I remember the first guy arrived at the last boss at about midnight, meaning he's been stuck there for 11 hours.

I'd really say Bungie screwed up with the raid level here. Those streamers have been abusing the Prime engrams trick like crazy and they still stand almost no chance.

Just because it goes live now doesn't mean people should expect it to be beaten. At this rate I won't be trying it for several weeks/months.

Now that I think about it, imagine if people hadn't discovered the Prime engrams trick. I don't think anyone would be higher than 540 at this point. Making it effectively impossible to complete the raid at launch.

Not sure what Bungie was thinking, really. What if one of these kids collapses on live stream?
