I got the Wish Ender yesterday night, and now I'm going egg hunting... but apparently one of the eggs requires a raid boss kill. There are 5 eggs in the raid, but 4 of them can be obtained by teleporting around with the wall of wishes. The last one however, is after Morgeth but before the Vault.

I wonder if I can convince someone to let me join for a minute after the boss, just to shoot the egg...

Morgeth is by far the easiest encounter in Last Wish. Can you teleport to that encounter? If you can get the numbers it's literally a case of doing the mechanic and then standing behind him unloading the Ikelos into his back.

Imagine you are playing Metal Gear Solid. 4 of you need to sneak around without being spotted to find a flower that's open, and when they get there one of the 2 people holding a shining crystal shine a light on it to release spores.

The spores give all the players a damage buff, and you can keep collecting them unless you are spotted.

Once you are spotted, you need to attack the dogs that are howling - and depending on the amount of spores you've collected, you do more damage. You have a limited time for the damage phase, so everyone needs to take cover after about 10 seconds.

Rinse and repeat. Best strategy is to get the Dogs low on health then get them all in a single phase.

Obviously, that's an over-simplification, but you should get the gist.

Or just watch this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPg7rxKxf8o

It's not too bad. You just need to avoid the dogs whilst gaining a damage buff which is obtained by being stood next to the blooming flowers. You have two guys above who direct you through and shoot the flowers which gives you the buff. Once you've got a decent stack you all head towards your assigned dog and rinse it.

@Switch024 sure, you can teleport to any encounter, including Riven. But I doubt I can solo it.

No obviously not but if you can round up a few people it can be done very quickly. We did it first time after watching a quick youtube video.

They have their own loot pool. Raid guns are often some of the better guns in the game and the armour can be good too.

The Prestige raids drop catalysts for some of the better exotic weapons which can improve them quite significantly.

Yeah running Last Wish is by far the quickest way to reach 600. I jumped up about 12 power from my 1st completion a few weeks back.

The Shattered Throne also gives you three pieces of powerful gear in total, and it's a lot easier. However, by the point you can play it, you'll be close to 600 anyway.

Fought 9 bosses in Gambit between yesterday and today, still no meatball. At this point, I can only assume that Bungie's concept of "almost as many chances" means one in ten.

At least I got the Cerberus+1 (even if it doesn't seem too good), so that was worth it. Still missing a few exotics here.

I've not seen it either, starting to get annoying. I get more frustrated with Gambit than I do PvP, I'll be glad to finally get it so I can get the Malfeasance and stop playing for awhile.

It spawned for me when I didn't care if it did. Only play gambit on the weekly milestone. Beat it, got the quest. :)

I played enough Gambit to buy the Bygones he sells and then stopped. Only play it now for the meatbag. I think it could be brilliant but it needs a bit of work.

    Sweet. Rewards!

Got upto last bit of the raid now. It's really good overall I think. Definitely the best looking raid ever for sure. Think the second encounter is my favourite for the carnage. Upto 571 now!

Another Gambit match, another day with no giant ball dude. I'm this close to just giving up on Gambit entirely. I don't even like hand cannons, so i don't know why I'm insisting.

So according to Activision, the expansion didn't meet sales targets and expectations, so they are "looking for new ways to drive player microtransactions". That doesn't sound like a good idea. They did say that player engagement has been much higher than in the past months, so it seems that those who went back are indeed satisfied with the current state of things.

Shame. Even I'll admit that Destiny now is the best it's ever been, and that includes D1 (I only wish we could go back to the D1 areas too). But you can only pull the rope so much before people start getting tired of crappy base games and DLCs. Forsaken should have been the launch state of D2.

I wonder what will happen with the annual pass content. If not enough people bought it, the new activities might end up devoid of players. It really would be best to open them to everyone.

I wonder how high their targets were? It's seemed more popular than ever these last couple of months but maybe that's just my perception from being in an active clan.

Every other publisher is pretty much dumping the paid expansion model for multiplayer games. Activision should be doing the same thing and make their extra cash from cosmetics.

@Switch024 it's been given out for free on both PS4 and PC, I've seen a lot of sub-level 20 players around. Doesn't mean that they bought the DLC afterwards.

No they're not all going to have it but we've picked up a lot of new players that have upgraded to Forsaken. There might be loads of sub 20 players on PC right now as it's only just gone free but on PS4 the vast majority are all 50.
