@Malek86 I'd definitely advise trying to clear them at least once. The Leviathan Lairs aren't too much trouble, if you can find a group where maybe 4 of the players know what they are doing they shouldn't take much more than an hour, and Scourge of the Past is genuinely one of my favourite raids in either D1 or D2.

It would be a shame to miss them when they are gone, they are all really nice pieces of content with interesting encounters. I'm not the biggest talker online but I bit the bullet this season and it has given new life to the game for me.

Spire of the Stars is the most difficult of the Leviathan Raid Lairs so go for that first. The rest are fairly easy

PC player here and I'm gonna be jumping on the raid bandwagon now too. Not really one for the socialising with randoms side of online gaming, but I'll bite the bullet before the content gets shelved. It would be nice to get the achievement list up to 100% too.

Currently sweating my way through towards my first glory reset as I realised those are all that I need now for unbroken.

I'm still not sure if I wanna raid. Ideally, I'd only do it for the Telesto and Sleeper catalysts, and that's assuming I get them on my first attempt. Also for Legend of Acrius, but perhaps that will become available in the exotic pool later on (maybe using my Cipher?).

Telesto should be relatively easy as it's the first encounter chest in the Prestige version of the raid. With loot now being farmable if you can find a group, you can just farm it until it drops. Catalysts are fairly common drops anyway so it shouldn't take long.

I still need it myself and I'm planning on getting it soon. I love the Telesto and even without the catalyst it's one of my go to Exotics.

I tend to stick to only one weapon for each type, so Loaded Question has taken its place (please Bungie, increase the equipment slots already).

Once it sunsets, however, I might have to rethink my choices.

Yeah I'm primarily a Loaded Question user in my Energy slot at the moment and I'm making the absolute most of it while we still have it. Reservoir Burst is an amazing perk. I'll run Telesto if I'm working on sheer add clear in a raid though. It's a touch more versatile than LQ in situations where you're ridiculously outnumbered and you don't have to be quite as accurate with it.

Good thing I didn't preorder Beyond Light, with it now coming to Xbox Game Pass.

I'm grinding for the Bad Juju catalyst and am only missing 1 tribute, and I'm going for the "complete Gambit matches with Opulence armour and weapons" one.

Today, I had a team of randoms that knew what they were doing, and there was a point during the Primeval fight when some awesome track started playing and everything was a blur of envoys, heavy ammo, invaders, supers and pure exhilaration.

Most of the time, Gambit is annoying, but when everything comes together, it can be truly excellent. I'm looking forward to Beyond Light when they merge Gambit and Gambit Prime and seeing what they're doing with it.

Gambit is easily my favorite MP choice in the game.

Unless it's changed I can't stand standard gambit. It really doesn't matter how the team does during the round, when the boss is up you can just invade with the beloved and keep topping up the boss health. If timesd well you can nearly continuously invade and hold the boss health. I'm sure two squaded up teams it's probably a different matter but general matchmaking gambit is some of the worst MP I've played. Normal crucible is pretty fun though. Looking forward to the new expansion, probably haven't played since a few months after the last big expansion what ever it was called. The moon one.

Iím struggling to get through the weeklies for this one. Not that itís all that bad (although fairly monotonous) Iím just a bit played out. I overplayed last season I think, and Iím in a vg slump as is. Destiny is always a go to game but itís hard going atm.

The problem with Gambit is that it's too dependant on specific moments. As in, the most important moment of a round is the first invasion. If you manage to get a couple stacked guys out, the enemy team has almost zero chances of recovering.

The problem at the minute is that the delay has completely killed the progression dead and the game is in a holding pattern. I don't think the public events were meant to go back to Io as soon as they did (if at all) so we're effectively stringing out whatever was supposed to come in after a few weeks on Titan until god knows when.

Vaulting all the destinations has motivated me to collect lore items, complete the Wayfarer title and do Tribute Hall stuff, so it's fine so far for me. Solstice of Heroes is right around the corner (9 days), and a month after that Festival of the Lost, so I can see me still playing it quite a bit before Beyond Light, but perhaps more in bursts.

My aim this season was to get all the Raids done, which I've now boxed off. Gambit kept me occupied for a good few weeks but now I'm kind of spinning my wheels waiting for the last few triumphs to become available so I can get my Arrivals seal.

Got into this a lot in the last few months and I have to say that Gambit is possibly the worst and least enjoyable mode I've ever seen in a game. Just awful.

I haven't really been in the game for a while. Only logged in on Tuesday to play the Contact event, but then didn't even bother with the rest of the quest.

I'll probably grab the expansion all the same, it oughta have enough content to justify its price (hopefully), but I won't bother with the season pass this time. Overall, this year has been pretty disappointing.

Pretty much the same... Picked up the quest and did a couple of contact events to progress it, then got bored and fucked off and did the last wish bridge chest before calling it for the week.

I'll be back in November too, but this season already really feels like it's gone on for too long.

So, dipping back in after a looooong break due to it all being on Gamepass. Havenít played since levelling out before any expansions.

As ever itís all a bit bewiderling when you come back after a long time but I hopped around some areas and got my head roughly back into it. But not entirely sure what I should be doing. It seems to be pushing me to do the Shadowkeep content. Is that right? Iím not too worried about being completist so if Iíve missed stuff thatís pointless to do now that fine, I just want to know what I should be doing to continue levelling.

If you have Shadowkeep, definitely crack on and do the campaign, it's not long and should get you warmed up to the game a bit.
I would focus on getting witherhoard (one of the seasonal rewards) and getting the catalyst for that complete, but that'll take you a while if you don't have the season pass for this season. (not sure if GP includes that or not)

Worth having a look at how umbral engrams work, as you'll want to get your hands on falling guillotine (but again, will probably want the season pass for that), it's also great for picking up decent rolls of other weapons that aren't going to be sunset

Think there's a guide for returning players that'll cover it better than I could, but at this point I'd say just check off any exotic quests and get geared up for next season.

Im going to return once the new expansion is out. Whats the best route? Buy the upgrade edition with forsaken and shadowkeep and then buy beyond light once thats out?

@You-can-call-me-kal You could also do all the campaigns (Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken, Shadowkeep, in that order). You can also pick those up at Amanda Holliday in the tower if you already completed them (at least the first three I think).

When regular blue drops don't get you a power increase anymore, do Powerful Rewards which drop up to 1050. After that you need Pinnacle Rewards to ger you to 1060. Also get the seasonal artifact ASAP so you can climb ranks in the Season Pass.
