I have flown United a few times and have found them to be awful. Fortunately this has never happened to me: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39554421 |
And you thought Ryan Air were bad? (United are worse)

Registered 16 years agoTechnically they asked for volunteers and nobody volunteered, so they picked two couples at random and this guy refused to get off because he's a doctor and had patients to see the next morning.
Still, it's disgusting. -
"random"
Random out of those with the cheapest fares maybe. -

Registered 17 years agoJumping in with unwarranted physical resistance (assaulting a police officer) is the last thing you want to do in the US, especially if you're literally sat in your seat waiting to fly to another part of the world.

Registered 16 years agoYeah attacking the airport security and police would have made all the difference, they'd have respected your sense of righteousness right there and seen the error of their ways. Probably upgrade the whole flight to first class and issued blowjob vouchers as a thank you -

Still, point stands. Don't fuck with the police in the US as they can obviously fuck you up more. -

Really? It pisses you off that a public record of companies/officials/joe bloggs behaving like asshats exists and can be used to prove said behaviour and actually get something done about it?

I'd film it, no hesitation. I'd certainly do that looooong before I mouthed off to an armed American policeman at least. -

Registered 17 years agoI know it was an internal flight, but it's still another part of the planet that they were trying to get to that they obviously wanted to get to asap. -

That's where PES' proposed ShitList would help but will Craigy implement it?
And United are pure shit, I've flown with them a half dozen times and every time I swore it was my last time. I'm not very good at remembering who's shit and why.
No, for reasons I don't understand. -

Registered 18 years agoUnited lost my bag and took 3 days to deliver it to me. Fortunately all that was in it was the tent I needed for staying on a desert dig site an hour from any town, so no rush yeah guys, I'll just hang out in the sub-zero desert nights in a borrowed sleeping bag while these scorpions run around my head. -

What, really? I would LOVe people to film it, it's all evidence and they will hopefully receive tens of thousands in compensation.

What do you want the other passengers to do? It is the police carrying them off the plane, try and stop the police? The most sensible thing was to film it.
