Registered 7 years agoMan alive, that's got me positively wet. Looks like the majority of it will be set in between Jedi and TFA and they're just chucking in all the Jedi and Sith for Multiplayer. I can't imagine we'll get Clone Troppers, Goonga's* and all that other bollocks.
And an SP campaign! Lovely.

Registered 16 years agoI loved the prequel maps in the first Battlefront II, given they're basically inspired by the films but actually good instead.
I'm still hoping they'll add some VR stuff too. Full VR gameplay is probably too much of a stretch, but a few missions would be lovely.gif)

Registered 9 years agoYeah the films might have been bad, but the prequel stuff in the old game was great. There's loads of interesting vehicles and droids, and loads more jedi/ villains to make the heroes list a bit more interesting.
If they made a collector's edition that included a pod racing mode in Frostbite I would give them all my money. -

Registered 15 years agoThe full trailer is being released on Saturday. I'm not going to pretend to ruminate on whether I'll get this. I'll definitely pick it up, played an unhealthy amount of the previous one and I'm sure my kids will play too. -

Registered 10 years agoFull trailer looked pretty sweet, however I'm not sure an empires campaign is what people want? But it is a different take I guess. Can't help but feel a lot of the mp will be a bit of dejavu so soon after. Do we really want hoth/Endor etc all over again. -

Registered 11 years agoThis is sounding more like what I expected from the first one (which I enjoyed the little I played during betas and the like but never bothered actually buying). My main question at the moment, which I'm guessing is a no, are droids back as playable units for the Prequel-era stuff? I'm guessing it'll just be Stormtroopers v Rebels for every map... but I really want to play as a Droideka again! -

Ah seems to have been a separate announcement, yes apparently no season pass, so there will be battlefront packs etc no doubt.
