Dont really watch many music videos these days, but the cinematography and editing in Kednrick Lamar's latest was pretty striking.

Oh, here's one that stuck with me. To be fair, the video consists of an old short film from the 70's so it's entirely appropriated, but still a very cool film.

That's directed by the same Russian fellah (Ilya Naishuller) as the video I posted at the top of the page.

Seems to have done well for himself, progressing from low budget handycam shorts, to music videos, then the movie "Horrid Henry"...

A friend pointed me at this video last week, and it's really nicely done. It's a homebrew video that took the guy 40 hours (spread over a month) to make, with much of that time spent painstakingly lip-syncing the animation. I was impressed, anyway
