Registered 12 years agoI've started watching a few streams on twitch, looks really fun. Sort of what DayZ / H1Z1 wanted to achieve in their PvP modes, but done right. -

I like the 4 player squad mode the most. You never quite know what kind of group you are going to get, but it was mostly positive. 2nd was best result.
The huge open environments with shifting tactical advantages (you get lucky, or very unlucky when the safe zone shifts...) make for some great gameplay. At one stage I hung back on a ridge as my three buddies went into some buildings. Soon enough guns started crackling from our flank and a few moved up into cover behind a wall. With me on overwatch however... I quickly disposed of all four (including their sniper far in the rear).
Performance is a bit ass. I have to dial down from ultra to keep it at 60fps.

Registered 16 years agoYup also got it. In fact I put together a new PC to play it at home as it's pretty amazing. A breath of fresh air for me. So simple yet also deep, short rounds and a lot of fun. It's more of a Beta than early access.

Registered 13 years agoI've moved over to the Steam Controller, some may say it's a big disadvantage but I prefer it and I've got a couple of kills under my belt. Got a config sorted that works really well for me. -

Registered 7 years agoI am considering getting a steam controller (although was kind of waiting for a Steam Link thing that does 4K to get in a bundle), but then I just went back to having a PC, so there is nostalgia about using keyboard + mouse after so many years of gamepads -

Registered 13 years agoNew record for me, two kills in a game..... getting at least one kill per game now so at least I don't feel completely shit -
nice couple of games with INSOMANiAC and Scurrminator... we did ~ok~ but not bad for a team of 3 strangers
