Hopefully they're saving the funny bits for the full show.

Yeah has caught my eye, but as I pointed out to a friend who shared it, I don't remember laughing much and it pretty much gives the whole point of the first episode away.

Will there be a sentient cloud of gas alien like from TOS Star Trek but Captain Seth walks into it and confuses it for a cloud of fart gas?

I'm just happy there is a new spaceship show in any form. The Expanse is great but I'd quite like more than just that.

I liked the trailer but, outside of the marble gag, I can't say I found it all that funny, though I did smile a couple of times and I certainly didn't hate it so I'll probably watch it.

I wish Seth McFarlane could fly (straight in to a jet engine turbine).

    And the pilot has aired.

I really enjoyed this first episode. It's got a good vibe to it, it's completely trek in numerous ways, which is fine by me and the humour, while being very Seth MacFarlane, which is generally shit, doesn't overcast the sci-fi adventure aspect too much. A couple of star wars nods as well but not much. I can see it's going to be chock full of trek cameos, there were a couple in this ep, one of them is on the crew and one of them a guest star.

It's got the usual awkwardness of people not quite embracing/owning their roles yet and having to be introduced, afforded some sort of character and so on but I can see it improving over the season, and hopefully subsequent seasons.

Are there plans to show this over here or is it a high seas job?

I hate that film with a passion! In my top 5 worst films of all time. I have developed a deep rooted hatred of Seth Macfarlane's smug fucking face!!

    I love Family Guy though.

I liked Family Guy for a while, but it got pretty terrible. Maybe it got better again, but I didn't want to stick around to find out.

Hmmm it's a fox show so the fox channel over here would be a good bet, but I know it doesn't always work out that way.

Just watching it. Streams available on couchtuner.

The cast is pretty fantastic! But it's such s strange concept of a show. Production values are great, like really really good! But hearing Bryan when I'm not watching the screen is not gonna go away!

I feel like Sky will probably get it in the UK. Shame.
