Love the look of this - couch co-op is a dying art and this looks like fantastic.

    Fingers crossed for this one!

Was the best thing they showed in the presentation. At least it was something new and different. Reminded me of Shawshank Redemption, although I'm guessing the prison scene is just a brief part of it.

Just read the EG preview on the front page - sounds very promising. The game is linear in the sense of the locations you go to, but apparently there are loads of different ways things can go depending on the actions of both characters.

I've shown the wife the trailer and she's on board, so this will be day one for me.....can't wait!

Seems to be reviewing really well, this. Wasn;t really on my radar and Sea of Thieves was looking pretty much like a game for the next few weeks but this might sneak in. Especially since 1 purchase lets 2 play...

@barchetta - ooh, really glad to hear that it's been getting good reviews. I just have to force a few friends to buy it so that I can get some kind of co-op action.

edit: that's assuming it's online co-op and not local.

Well.... a few more reviews in and some a little less enamoured with it. A qualified success perhaps. But it looks interesting - online and local co-op apparently:

Is this the game where if one of you has bought the game you can still play online with someone who doesn't have it?

    Yeah it is.

Its also pretty cheap at £25 or 22.50 with ea access.

Finished it this afternoon (2 sessions). Thought it was really good, plays a lot like a telltale game but a bit more linear. A nicely crafted story and well worth a playthrough with a friend/partner. Best bit was the hospital is scene, the camera work was just brilliant.

Yoinks - that was quick work but actually thinking a short story would be quite welcome.

Will pick this up and play with my eldest.

    It’s quite mature.

I did it today in one sitting, about 6 hours.

Solo or with a buddy? Eldest is a mature 15 yr old - may look for some info with a view to overall suitability but don't want specific plot spoilers.

If the co-op play really is deeper than the usual 'throw more/tougher enemies at you' and is more integrated into story etc. which, from what I understand it is, then I'd like him to see a different type of game to FIFA/PUBG etc.

    You can’t play solo. It’s a co-op game.

    15 will be fine.

Wrapped this up yesterday with the Mrs over 3 sessions, about 6 hours altogether. We had a lot of fun with it and it was great to have a game we could finally play together as they are very few and far between, last one was Borderlands 2 I think. Anyway, It's kind of telltale-esque as someone else mentioned but you have a lot more control over the characters. Gameplay is OK, nothing really spectacular, but it's nice to finally have another proper couch co op game. The story though is absolutely mind blowing and makes it an absolute must play if you can IMO. Real jaw to the floor moment that will stick with me!

Just finished this with my other half. As the poster above said, it's great to have a proper local co-op game. There are so few. We had a lot of fun. Wish they would have more local co-op games.
