Registered 17 years agoPicked this up recently on a whim whilst passing a CEX for £8 on the Xbox, I had a few issues with playing it at first which after checking out this thread I realise were all too common criticisms but have now just resigned to blasting through on the easiest difficulty and taking it for what it is, it is beautifully smooth and looks lush, though the environments are all so drab which I suppose is only to be expected for the setting but Christ On A Bike I might actually finish a game for the first time in about 5 years! Haven’t got a bloody clue what the story is (I just don’t care) at least you can skip some of the cut scenes. -

Registered 15 years agoI know it's Wofenstein and all, but the series really jumped the shark for me when BJ literally got decapitated and survived.

Registered 16 years agoI really liked TNO, but for me TNC was one big exercise in shark jumping. Completely burned out any affection I had for the franchise, to the extent I didn't even bother buying Youngblood. -

Registered 16 years agoI enjoyed them both but the first one was the better 'game'. Youngblood wasnt great but it was cheap and the story, such as it was, is pretty good.
I would definitely buy a full fat third instalment to round the story out. -

Registered 17 years agoIt's an odd series, in that it's had as many spinoffs as main entries from MachineGames. The New Order had The Old Blood. The New Colossus had Youngbloods.
I'd have to say that all the griping that went on in here is what stopped me bothering with anything after the first one..gif)
