| Must admit the in game footage in the tv ad looked pretty poor, the city looked quite low quality in motion, miles off the screenshots that have been going around. Definitely going to wait for the review on this one. |

Registered 8 years agoJust read the playtime is about 20 hrs if you just complete main game on normal and partake in some side content.
Sounds perfect to me. -

Registered 7 years agoYup, that's pretty good. I've found that Whatever the average playtime for games are, I can add at least 15 to mine. Having completed Horizon this weekend I expected to have it done in about 25, but the counter is around 50 hours, and that was mostly mainlining the story. -

Registered 9 years ago@rudedudejude bit weird, there are gameplay videos where the city looks amazing so I wouldn't be too worried. -

Registered 16 years agoEven my Dad thought it looked great when he saw the trailer on TV. It really does look amazing in all of the actual gameplay footage I've seen, especially the animation which is silky smooth.
I have to admit I'm still checking GAME every day to see if they've had any Collector's Edition cancellations or extra stock allocation. It's basically £65 to add the statue, as everything else is in the Special Edition, and I know full well there's absolutely no way I'd pay £65 for it on its own. But it looks so lovely! I'll probably buy it digitally though, if I suffer an outbreak of common sense

Registered 5 years ago15 - 20 hours is good enough for me. I am picking this up regardless of what the final game looks and plays like. I do think this could be a nice fun game so I'll be looking forward to it. -
I really should be more excited for this
15-20 hours sounds perfect, i don't want an 80 hour spiderman game. -

Registered 7 years agoLate embargo's seem to be the thing these days. I think I've given up caring about reviews and the embargo's. Especially after Doom. -

Also I showed the trailer to my dog, he gave it a 2 paws up. -

Registered 16 years agoCollector's Edition briefly came back in stock this morning. Too briefly. By the time I actually hit Confirm Order, it got yoinked out of my basket. Probably for the best though.
Not fussy about reviews though. It's Spider-man. Surely if the fundamentals were broken, it'd have come up in previews and things? All I really want is New York City and a swingy button. As long as nothing puts that in doubt, my hype meter will stay in the same place

It;s rare to get more than a weeks lead-time at max. This one is 3 days before launch.

Registered 8 years agoThis looks awesome! I rarely get games at launch because they usually drop in price soon after (especially in the case of one player games) but I'm really tempted to grab this. What's the best price at the moment? -

Registered 7 years agoNot really any deals for it, seems to be HMV (thought they stopped trading online years ago) for £44, or for 4 quid more you can get it with a steelbook from Shopto or the Games Collection. -

Registered 8 years agoHmmmmmm. Given that the DLC is being stretched out until December as well, I may wait until then as this is almost certain to fall in price in the coming months. HZD held value for a while but has fallen quite a lot now so I see the same happening to this. -

Registered 7 years agoIt's pretty standard for first party isn't it? I do miss the days of 30 quid games on launch though. -
True. But given that there is DLC that I am also likely to want to get (running at probably £25ish), that'd make it a c.£70 game all in, which is a bit rich for my liking. Especially for a game that I will play once in all likelihood and then not touch again.
