I thought defrosting freezers was a 20th century thing. Is this Brexit biting

Gotta make it last when you won’t be buying another for 20 years

If you huff the gas from the freezer it gives you glorious visions of sunlit uplands , you just have to hack your way through the ice .

If you freeze a load of fresh fruit now it might pay for your new hovel in 2030.

    :)

This made me laugh out loud and that unfortunately made my wife ask me what I was reading and I figured this would be just too hard to explain.

Especially as she's never seen Fury Road...

Changed the wiper blades on the car... OK its not exactly wrestling a bear but its 17 quid of satisfaction.

    So silent... swoosh, swoosh.

4 quid to get them changed at Halfords. That reminds me to do mine before my next MOT.

Unfortunately mine detach completely rather than replacing the rubber strips. Sweet German over-engineering.

We’re getting some much delayed but unavoidably necessary work done on the back of Maybe House and I’ve just had to tell the builder that we don’t want any of the extras he’s been trying to add to our quote.

I’m far too beta to say no to bigger boys/proper men like that.

If it wasn’t for the rona I’d invite ex-copper and extremely practical father-in-law around tomorrow to help housesit / cower behind.

Is getting a programming project out the door a manly achievement? It's certainly an achievement and I'm a (hu)man so it must be.

I wrote a custom calendar for my business. It's about 1/3 completed, but this is a functional first version. Uploaded to production yesterday, will begin migrating tomorrow. I can't wait to find out how much of a mess I've made of things.

I replaced the rubber gasket on my washing machine. It took me 90 minutes, I tore my hands apart and the YouTube video showed someone doing it in 5 minutes BUT I did it. Manly.

I just did 225 chin ups.

I have to replace a fuse wire later, in our old style fuse box. Never done it before so I’ll probably fuck it up and die

How true. I test everything I do and yet every time I sit someone else down to show them what's what they break it in 15 seconds.
