Registered 6 years agoWe’re getting some much delayed but unavoidably necessary work done on the back of Maybe House and I’ve just had to tell the builder that we don’t want any of the extras he’s been trying to add to our quote.
I’m far too beta to say no to bigger boys/proper men like that.
If it wasn’t for the rona I’d invite ex-copper and extremely practical father-in-law around tomorrow to help housesit / cower behind. -

Registered 15 years agoIs getting a programming project out the door a manly achievement? It's certainly an achievement and I'm a (hu)man so it must be.
I wrote a custom calendar for my business. It's about 1/3 completed, but this is a functional first version. Uploaded to production yesterday, will begin migrating tomorrow. I can't wait to find out how much of a mess I've made of things. -

Registered 20 years agoI replaced the rubber gasket on my washing machine. It took me 90 minutes, I tore my hands apart and the YouTube video showed someone doing it in 5 minutes BUT I did it. Manly. -
