Anyone else fascinated by this news story? What the fuck happened on that submarine?!

I was already intrigued and now it turns out the reporter had all her limbs and head severed.

Turns out the guy who wanted to build his own submarine is a freaking freakazoid.

    Who knew.

The way he's changed his story so many times. Then declared "Oh yeah, she did die aboard my submarine... In an accident. I buried her at sea." then the submarine sank.

It's the most inept attempt to cover guilt I've seen in quite a while.

I've been following it since it started, it's been a bizarre story.

    Yeah, I've been reading this.

Attractive woman goes onto submarine alone with a guy who built it himself. No way I'd have submerged in the thing, never mind alone with him.

So he said that he dropped her off safely. Then said he gave her a burial at sea after she died in an accident which sunk his sub.

And then we discover that the sub was deliberately sunk and her body was cut up I assume before he buried her at sea.

I think this should be easy for the prosecution.

It's a fascinating story. His submarine was crowdfunded as well, apparently.

So only a slightly better result than Mighty No.9 then?

I'm sure there's a perfectly innocent explanation. He's probably making it up at the moment.

Probably tried to dock his submarine in her port. She freaked out, he killed her, then threw her overboard. Body loses head and limbs while floating in the sea for two weeks?

When I heard of this first I thought it sounded like the most Danish crime ever. I mean, I'm pretty sure all those Lars von Trier films are just documentaries.

@Fake_Blood The limbs and head were cut off according to reports.

You cut the limbs and head off to allow gasses to escape and the body to sink.

I do it all the time.

Looks like he took the implication a bit too seriously.

Don't forget to attach a piece of metal to the flesh if you want it to sink faster

Pretty sure the manslaughter charge can be upped to murder…

    What a bizarre story.

The police is looking at similarities between this and the murder / butchering and disposal at sea of a Japanese student back in 1986.

Psycho Madsen was 15 at the time.

Court meeting just finished. Turns out the victim had 14 stab wounds in the genitals, traces of muscle tissue have been found on the, ahem, alleged killer's clothes - oh, and he also had quite a bit of genuine snuff (women being strangled and burned) on the PC the cops confiscated.

    I'd say he's probably guilty.

Now now, I'm sure he has a very reasonable explanation for all that.
