    Well obviously there's only one possibility: Narwhal.

    Police press meeting in progress right now.

    Yesterday Police divers found two separate plastic bags in the ocean - one containing Kim Walls head and legs, and one containing her clothes and a knife.

    Both bags were weighed down with lead weights, and there were no signs of blunt trauma on her skull (undermining Peter Madsens previous explanation that Wall died from a submarine hatch accidentally closing on her head).

    All bags found close to where the submarine spent four hours drifting, prior to Madsen scuttling it.

    She clearly accidentally fell into several separate plastic bags.

    I wonder if this was his attempt at the perfect crime.

    This is surely the definition of an open and shut case? If someone has framed him, they've done an impressive job.

    Sorry, bit glib. It's fucking awful.

    I'd imagine they're trying to find a match between the metal pieces used to weigh down the torso, with those attached to the legs and head. If that can be done, Madsen really has no option to come clean.

    @up_the_ante

    FYI , Denmark is Scandinavian. Shorter days and cold weather cooped up inside together, means there's probably the right setting for coming up with said dark crime mysteries.

    You mean he's still got a plausible excuse at this point? I wouldn't want to be his lawyer.

    Not at all - he is definitely going away for a long time for this. Just that at some point he might as well tell the truth, instead of keeping up this bizarre charade.

    It is an utterly bizarre charade. One thing that is puzzling is that I read an interview with a close friend of Wal who studied journalism with her. They had spoken at length about issues of being a female journalist in regards to receiving threats and putting themselves in threatening situations. Wal was not stupid and in addition to this there was no real value in her reporting on a low grade inventor with a submarine. Obviously he murdered her, but there is way more to this story than it seems.

    @JamboWayOh

    I think it is pretty straightforward, tbh. Madsen was - obviously - into some pretty dark stuff. Wall was a pretty woman, and it is not inconceivable that Madsen thought she was into him on a more than professional level.

    She turned him down, he went batshit, killed her and tried to dispose of the body as best he could.

    If the killing was planned in advance, he wouldn't have made up his first story, about her getting of the sub on Refshale°en, as that was sure to be pulled apart by the Police.

    @phAge

    I'm not discounting that fact, I'm more intrigued by the notion that Wall was perhaps investigating Madsen due to his dark perversions under the pretext of this willing to try out his submarine with him. I'm probably getting too conspiracy theorist about this.

    I'm with phAge. He probably put on his trilby and tried some tactics from the Game.

    Anything's possible, but yeah, that does sound a wee bit too spectcatular... :)

    He only targets kids as well. Don't think he's ascended to murdering adults yet.

    Maybe on the submarine, he thought she would understand "the implication".

    Mental note to self: Don't let any female I know get on a seafaring vessel with SpaceMonkey.

    I'm pretty sure SpaceMonkey said he was unemployed steamboat captain. Which is good as it gives him time to work on his parchments away from the all seeing eye of those that would take that which he creates.

    I'm still waiting for him to publish his pieces of work which just happen to be 'close by'. Although the more I think about it, those 'pieces of work' that are close by are just his shits that he crimps out on his basement floor.
  • Deleted user 7 October 2017 17:19:47
    Pieces of work comprise of body parts kept in Jars in his fridge.

    New explanation from Madsen as of right now. Apparently, Wall was killed by carbon monoxide poisoning - and then he cut her up.

    Still claims that he didn't kill her, though.

    Cheers on the updates. The man is obviously mentally unbalanced with all these implausible denials. First it was she had an accident, then she hit her head, now she dies from an invisible gas that would obviously kill both of them in such an enclosed place. It's so offensive to her family that I just can't believe he's legally sane.

    Actually, his first explanation was that he'd set her off on Refshale°en (part of Copenhagen)... Re: this new version, he says that he was up top, on the subs deck, when it happened.

    I'm betting his next story will involve aliens.

    Nah I'm betting on him blaming a one armed man, ala Harrison Ford in the Fugitive.
