Article by Vulture Thought this might be an interesting topic. Only one I've fought in the top ten is Orphan of Kos, great boss fight but I did struggle more against Lawremce. |

Not fought any of them apart from Doom, wolfenstein 3d and Diablo 2 and I'm happy to keep it that way! .gif)

Registered 8 years agoI really struggled with Freddie Mercury in Shadowgangs.
My poppers power up had faded and I just couldn't take him. -

Registered 8 years agoNumber 21 really fucking pissed me off.
It was the most irritating fight ever. -
Ornstein and smough should be higher. Fucking hell I dont think I've struggled more with a boss. -
I hate boss battles, definitely my least favourite thing in video games. They're often repetitive and about mastering a particular sequence of moves. Not my idea of fun. -

Registered 9 years agoNice to see Cthun from wow in there the fucking bastard vagina monster. The lich king should have been in there as well as well as the whole of the original naxxramas.
Did I miss the lack of a DOA4 boss as well, massive ballache. -

That's in there, but the Boost Ball boss isn't who I found to be the most irritating difficulty spike in that game.

Registered 6 years agoBeat a fair few of them. The order seems all over the place though, and there's way tougher bosses in Nioh than the two mentioned. Oh and fuck you Alma. -

Registered 9 years agoI immediately thought Emerald Weapon before checking the article, glad I'm not the only one who struggled with that green git
...although at least that one was designed for solo play. Attempting Crawmerax from Borderlands 2 solo was an exercise in futility.

Registered 14 years agoNot read it yet but if the final boss from Jet Force Gemini is not in the top 10 the list is null and void.
Edit: Had a scan through and could not find it yet somehow Crota from Destiny is in there despite being relatively easy.

Registered 16 years agoIve done a fair few on that list and the only one thats really made me throw my hands up and say 'fuck this' was the graveyard banshee tart from bioshock infinite. I had hardly any ammo and the vigors i had upgraded were fuck all use. -

Registered 15 years agoNo mention of Drakengard 3's (apparently 1 had similar situation but not finished that one) which was evil changing the game genre and making it a diificult example of the new genre. -

Registered 13 years agoI've beaten two or three of these, but the only top 10 one is the Nameless King, and I didn't beat him
alone (I did finish him off alone after the other guy died though).
Shadows of Yharnam were total bastards. That's the furthest I ever got in Bloodborne thanks to them.
Kerafyrm the Sleeper should be a lot higher up. He was meant to be unbeatable. As the article says, a combination of guilds got him down to 27%, and SOE despawned him because there was no plan for what happened afterwards. -

Registered 12 years agoI wondered if Senator "Nanomachines, Son" Armstrong would be in there. He kept fucking me up until I finally figured out how to stop his regen. Which really shouldn't have taken me as long as it did... -

Registered 16 years agoYeah, some of them were a pain in the arse, but they are all really well designed. Its one of my favourite games and its a shame no one has managed to get their shit together for a sequel yet. -
Yeah, I guess we'll never see a sequel now, with Konami being a shit-show. Massive shame.
I think I'm going to have to replay it again now!
