That accusation. I'm struggling to see what the issue is. It reads like the guy misinterpreted a situation, then stopped when he was told she wasn't interested and then was stroppy with her afterward. Is that really what sexual assaults is these days? -
Harrassment rather than assault but he came on pretty strong imo going by the account.

Also 'virtue signalling' is just a term used by people with no empathy and no means to understand what it is to tell people that the only reason they'd ever care about anyone other than themselves is to try and make themselves look good. -

The only thing that might mitigate his behaviour is the fact they were both drinking, otherwise I don't see how you could mistake signals to that degree.
Getting in the shower uninvited is pretty advanced in the fuck up department. -
I hate the term 'virtue signalling'. Sure it happens but it's just become some throwaway reductive conceit that the ignorant can tarnish those that actually give a shit about equality and have an ounce of empathy. -
@peterv The drinking does muddy the waters a bit but when someone's puking you have to be either massively naive or a sexual predator to think that's a sign of being up for it.

Sorry but I can see very clearly that there is alot of opportunity for miscommunication in that scenario. I think it's very unfair to paint this as anything as no one knows what was said or done on that trip. No one should be reading that and concluding that the man is a sexual predator, that is crazy. You can't base your whole opinion on someone you've never met by one paragraph taken of social media, we're all doomed if that's the case. -

If it does go down and nobody actually tries keeping it up, it will mean the concentration of powers in there was even more massive than I imagined.

Of course I know not of all the details, it's conjecture as everything always is regarding goings on you're not directly involved in.
It's disturbing behaviour, yes drink can be a factor but it's still shady as fuck if true. -
Slipping naked behind someone in the shower because they've puked on themselves from drinking too much isn't "misreading the situation". You'd have to be spectacularly dense to think this was a situation where she'd be up for it. -
Aye, it's pretty black and white to my mind. Miscommunication, whatever. I see your point Aaron but if a girl is puking in a shower then get her some water and look after her. She's obviously feeling vulnerable. Instead she ends up feeling violated.
