Hey, don't get all snippy especially as it seems you're trying to sneak a remaster through under the guise of a freebie!!!! Rule breakers don't get to make complaints. :)

Heh. I've gotta say - without you guys surgically analysing my purchases and playing, I'd have folded on this challenge back in March. That makes it all worthwhile. ;)

I'd like to think it's amusing, nay, titillating Phattso as much as the rest of us. :)

Well i managed to get all Kong Letters and Puzzle pieces in Tropical Freeze (Including the bonus world). Taken me just shy of 50 Hours. Not sure whether to proceed to do time attacks and the hard mode or not. Given the game a fair shake i think, which i ve enjoyed a lot.

Traded South Park for Wolfenstein - move me up Jonny. Feels good to have traded a completed game from my ten though.

Moved in with the duck. Game 3: Death Road to Canada. Good fun for runs of 20 mins at a time, getting my hopes up before they are cruelly dashed. I'm a fan of the irreverent writing style.

I thought I'd throw the choice of my final game this year (doing 5 games instead of 10) to the forum. Any suggestions on Switch or pc? I have most of the first party stuff on Switch. Preferred genres are simulation, turn based, strategy, rpg, rogue like and shorter indie games. Saying that, perhaps I should try something completely different to my usual fare. That might be good fun or really terrible.

BattleTech on PC has been getting some rave reviews from the forumites playing it.

I would hold off and wait right now r_s. there are still 6 months left to go and you wont want to use your 'final' purchase on a game now and then find something (red dead) comes out in a few months that makes you wet your pants its sooo good.

Or just switch to the full 10 games and go nuts :) (if you care about JPRG's i would try the octopath demo)

I love it. Finished the campaign now, but still want to keep playing. Might even start a new game with Roguetech (a mod).

Bearing in mind I've always loved the BattleTech universe, so that might temper your own views on it, but i love the combination of the actual TBS gameplay combined with the "collect-em-all" mechs, and the strategy of altering your weapons loadouts etc.

The DLC is what moves the game from worth the money to exceptional.

    Valkyria Chronicles 4!

Or Xenoblade Chronicles 2 + season pass if you don't already have that one.

Valkyria Chronicles is definitely on my radar. I've got it pre-ordered, but will wait for reviews before accepting a £50 hit on my bank balance.

For those of us that didn't partake in the world cup freebie, i am assuming @Phattso will allow us one free game from the RogueyOne giveaway thread right?

The freebie is still on, you just have to complete it before the final. Have at it. :)

Great thing about it for those still in the competition - DLC doesn't count!

So, unless you sold the game on or whatever, you can buy it, no questions asked, no eye-brows raised.

One hell of a brilliant campaign that addon is.

Do Humblebundles count as 0, 1 or the number of games they give you?

Weeeellllll it's a single purchase but it's also a passive ongoing thing rather than something you explicitly buy.

This might be how my steam library has 641 items in it.

Rules for bundles are you count each game you install and play. Technically we would also require proof that you disposed of the remaining keys ethically, but trust will have to suffice. ;)

How many you on for the year so far?

I have pre-ordered Dead Cells on Switch, compadres. That's me up to 9.

Still fully intend to keep within my 12 for the year. Though I can see it being a struggle for the last few months!
