    #2 29/01 Statik (PS4)
    #3 01/02 Superhot VR (PS4)
    #4 03/02 VR Worlds (PS4)
#5 07/02 Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (PS4)

#8 11/03 Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle (Switch)
    #9 12/03 Doom VFR (PS4)

Hmm, it was alright. Basically just a condensed version of the main game with a pretty poor default control system, but switching on normal movement is a sure fire way to get motion sickness.

8,9,10 games completed, I'm noticing a pattern here.
Alas I'm still on just 3 completed games and 2 of those were started and well under way in 2017!

I am only up to 4 too. Really slow pace this year. Doesn't help that one gane I was ploughing through has suddenly become crash heavy with a Windows update... (Last Remnant, although I did get back into Fallout New Vegas testing if it was my Linx Vision as a whole or just LR at fault)

I had absolutely no idea that the story had 3 completely different branches, so unless I had googled different endings after completing it, I would probably have left it after just one playthrough, completely missing the 2 other routes.

But now, after playing through it three times, I'm considering myself done, even if I've "only" played through each branch once and not witnessed all the different endings of each branch. Or well, I did witnessed them on youtube, the different branches are completely different from each other so I did want to play through each of them, but the different endings within each branch is just a small variation at the very end so I was content with using youtube for those.

    12. 80 days, Android. Great game. So much replay value.
    13. Vostok Inc, Switch. Decent shooter hybrid clicker thing. Weird difficulty balance, so had to grind about 66% of the way through and was totally overpowered for the rest of the game. Onto NG+.

Another game where I guess "finished" is a matter of definition. I'ved played through the story for all the different schools (and the final battle), but haven't bothered with all the individual girls stories and probably never will. I did play a few of them but as far as advancing any story goes, they're rather pointless.

I might return and play a few more of the individual stories later on just as an excuse to start up the game and get some fighting done, but there are some girls who I just hated the controls of that I'm pretty certain I'll never bother with again now that I've gotten through the main stories :)

    1. Batman the Telltale Series (PS4) (8/10) PLAT
    A. Episode 1 (6/1/18) (8/10)
    B. Episode 2 (6/1/18) (7.5/10)
    C. Episode 3 (8/1/18) (8/10)
    D. Episode 4 (8/1/18) (7.5/10)
    E. Episode 5 (9/1/18) (8/10)
    2. Yakuza 0 (PS4) (2/2/18) (9.5/10)
    3. Yakuza Kiwami (PS4) (18/2/18) (8/10)
    4. Grim Fandango Remastered (PS4) (6/8/18) (8/10)
    5. Infamous - Second Son (PS4) (20/3/18) (8/10)

Finished the 'good' route and cleared all the city stuff too 100%. Story was hokey but fit the game and was enjoyable enough. The sandbox was a nice size to get through and not too sprawling. Powers were fun, although variety if enemies was a bit lacking. Enjoyed it enough though.

Should hopefully have a few more things finished soon. 25th Ward shouldn't be too long and approaching end of EDf 4.1. Been back in Fallout New Vegas too. Might go through Titanfall 2 soon too. I need to squeeze some shorter games in too though as about 8 games behind at the moment... On the plus side I got PS4 remote play workong with my Linx Vision which could be handy.

    Xenoblade Chronicles 2

A solid to very good RPG that rewards you the more you put into it. At times it is uneven and ragged, and clearly could have done with 6 months more development time to iron out some design quirks, but the story and general gameplay kept me engaged.

At one point i was close to binning it, but after i just accepted the flaws i actually enjoyed it a lot, which actually coincinciedd with playing it in portable mode from big screen mode.

    4/5

    1. Splatoon 2 (Jan 2018) 4/5

#09 22/03 Rise of the Tomb Raider (PC) - 8/10

Story is bollocks, but it's fun and so very, very pretty. I have a GTX 1070 that I got for VR, but I do 99% of my gaming on PS4 and XO, never really play 2D games on my PC, but someone gave me a code for this and having seen what a difference it makes I really should make more use of it.

Whoa! 3 games down in as many months. I'm on target for a solid 12 games this year! :D

    01. Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (DS) January
    02. Overcooked! Special Edition (Switch) February
    03. Golf Story (Switch) March

A great little game, but my experience was somewhat soured by a large number of bugs and crashes. All of which could have been avoided had I checked for the latest patch. Apparently the Switch isn't always on the ball with automatic updates.

The WII U game has even less content. It makes the 3ds version look chock full. Only three monthe until the Switch version.

Decent gameplay, shame about the writing, which tries to be funny but relies too much on just swapping about the names of Warcraft characters and saying "bum" occasionally.

    2018 List

    1/1/18: Beyond Eyes - 8/10
    3/1/18: Papa & Yo - 7/10
    27/3/18: Fire Emblem Warriors -10/10

Completed the main story which ran to about 13 hours and now I have loads of history mode battles to do. It's a really enjoyable game that balances hack n slash with a very light layer of strategic character management. I'll dip in and out of it as it's the sort of thing that becomes repetitive in longer sessions. I can't really think of anything I don't like about it. 10/10 for fun rather than polished or highly original gameplay.

Ever since I gave PCSX2 a try last year when I wanted to replay Persona 3, I've been considering revisiting more of my old ps2 library. Got to say, that emulator makes wonders for bringing the old games to life again with hd resolutions and even widescreen support in games not originally supporting it (though DQ8 did infact have build in WS-support).

And to be honest, without the added comfort of save states allowing you to save wherever/whenever, I'm not sure I would've had the patience to made it through this time, "regular" save locations are rather far apart and completely non-existent inside dungeons/before bosses.

@Quint PCSX2 is rather excellent, isn't it? It's about the only thing I still use my PC's optical drive for - pretty neat having PS2 emulation at the point where it's just "insert disc and play".

Toying with a replay of the Ar Tonelico games using it.

    @Rogueywon
Yeah, actually played through the Ar Tonelico games last year using it. I did turn of all the visual improvements for those though, since for non-3d games I prefer the original look over some attempt to blur/smooth the sprites & backgrounds.

Also, great choice for replaying, not only are they great games, the music is probably favorite music from any games.
