He's like 90 or something in Lord of the Rings so it'll be more like the adventures of middle aged Aragorn. -

Welcome to the thread guys. I heard Amazon's twitter account for this just teased a map for this series which looks like it will put the series in the Second Age. There's no Gondor nor Rohan and instead there is Calenardhon which existed before Rohan.
That would make the series potentially about the fall of Numenor, Elendil, Gil-Galald, Isildur and The Last Alliance of Men and Elves. -

Further investigation puts this likely in the early Third Age as there is a part of Mirkwood missing on the map that only occurred then.
