    I'm mildly surprised that there isn't a thread for this already, but Pinball FX 3 is coming to the Switch on Tuesday and is already available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. I thought this thread could provide, if nothing else, a place to share gamertags and friend codes for folk who want targets to beat in the leaderboards. It's always more interesting when things get personal!

    I can add all accounts and friend codes to a list within this post if people wish, or we can just let people add each other as posts are made. It might help listing the tables you own, although this could get very messy if I try to contain all that information within this opening post! At the very least, feel free to gloat about any high scores (regardless of platform). It'll act like a notification when things do inevitably get competitive.

    On a side note, apparently Xbox and PS4 users are able to download many of the tables they purchased in Pinball FX 2 (and Zen Pinball 2) on Pinball FX 3 at no extra cost. I've no idea if this will be the case with Wii U/Switch users though. Probably not. :(

    This post is more for Switch users, but below is a list of tables available to Switch users from Tuesday. It's a much smaller list than other platforms, but the developers have promised that the others are on there way! One nice bonus for Switch owners is that everybody gets Sorcerer's Lair for free, so technically download and try the game at no cost! :)

    Universal Classics Pinball (Back to the Future, E.T., Jaws)
    Aliens vs. Pinball (Aliens, Alien vs. Predator, Alien: Isolation)
    Balls of Glory (Family Guy, Bobís Burgers, Archer, American Dad!)
    Portal
    The Walking Dead
    Sorcererís Lair (free)
    Carnivals & Legends (Adventure Land Pinball, Son of Zeus)
    Zen Classics (Shaman, Tesla, El Dorado, V12)
    Core Collection (Pasha, Rome, Biolab, Secrets of the Deep)
    Medieval Pack (Epic Quest, Excalibur)
    Sci-Fi Pack (Mars, Paranormal, Earth Defense)
    Iron & Steel (Wild West Rampage, CastleStorm)

    I'm personally bagging the Medieval Pack for Excalibur. Epic Quest isn't too shabby, either. I really want El Dorado, but there's no option to buy it alone. It's a great table. It's quite a simple one, but you're constantly working towards unlocking the bigger challenges that offer the big points. It's arguably better than Excalibur!

    Beyond that, i'm willing to let others here decide my purchases. I'm happy to buy anything if enough folk have it. I only have experience with the oldest tables and some of those are pretty poor (in my opinion).

    How do you claim the tables bought on other platforms?

    I'm going all in so I'll let folks know about each table.

    All in as in buying the entire lot?

    Yep. I love pinball games. This will be perfect for the Switch. Super replayable.

    @H1ggyLTD I'm not entirely sure. I'm assuming it'll have something to do with your account history and detecting old purchases. Unfortunately I've only played this series on Switch. Hopefully somebody else can clarify.

    I'm not expecting previous purchases to pull through from Wii U to the Switch given the account situation, buy you never know.
  • Deleted user 12 November 2017 17:51:34
    I can't even remember what tables I had on the Wii U version. I get mixed up with the other versions I own lol.
  • Deleted user 12 November 2017 17:54:44
    So you absolutely can't buy single tables? I could of sworn you could on other versions. Or I might be getting mixed up with something else.....

    @Addy_B

    Maybe about £50-£60 all in if the prices are the same as on steam. Might not be though...
  • Deleted user 12 November 2017 18:10:43
    I'll probably end up with all the tables myself eventually lol. I do like this game. Does anyone do the same as me though. On a good scoring game just 1 ball will get me that score and at least one will be crap and pretty much sink just after the save has gone.

    Yup. That's how it always goes. I've always hoped to pull off a great score with all 3 balls, but its usually just 1 good ball and two wasted/ unlucky efforts.

    @DangerousDave_87

    The only time I've done it was on shaman table on the 3ds. I can't remember the score now but I was 3rd on the overall leaderboard for a while. Just one of those games were I was on point nailing all the lanes and hitting all bonuses etc.

    The feature to import previously purchased tables is extremely generous of Zen Studios. I managed to carry over 37 of my 38 tables to PS4 (purchased on PS3/Vita) with the only exception being Plants vs Zombies (due to licensing issues).

    Picking this up plus 4 or 5 tables, can't cope with learning too many tables at once.

    Can't remember the name.

    Zen did over the over the top licensed tables.

    The other one recreated classic tables.

    That's not going to break the Joy Con, is it?
  • Deleted user 19 November 2017 18:21:44
    @DangerousDave_87

    God knows. I've tested it myself with one and it feels like to much weight on it.
