    Plays very well with the pro controller, which has nicely weighted triggers.

    Feel free to add me (0321-1651-6732) for some leaderboard action (although I haven't played any of these tables before so bear with!)

    30fps undocked and 60fps docked performance on the Switch apparently. I wonder how many bugs there will be? FX games always seem to have some that never get fixed.

    In case anyone isn't paying attention, or wasn't going to boot this up anytime soon, the Carnivals and Legends table pack (Adventure Land and Son of Zeus) is free for everybody until the 19th.

    Played a few tables before. Adventureland, Aliens and Jaws. All great tables. Tried vertical mode touchscreen which was cool. Will give it a proper whirl tonight docked.

    Not enjoying this much in handheld mode, feels like it's in slow motion. Was expecting much more from handheld as it's the only selling point over other systems. Bugger.

    Surprised about the 30fps in portable mode. Looking forward to testing that out this evening. Will nab all the free tables and Excalibur as soon as possible!

    I already played that 30fps Zen Pinball game on the 3DS, even back then I thought it was pretty poor.

    I wonder why it can't reach 60fps in portable mode? Even my cheap laptop could reach that much in the Windows 8 version of FX2.

    I rinsed the 3ds version. I never had issues with it so I can't say portable mode is bothering me on this.

    I had no issues with the 3DS version of Zen Pinball. At least not framerate wise. I can imagine it's quite jarring if you go from docked to portable mode, though!

    I've just downloaded it now. Bagged the free tables and got Excalibur/Epic Quest. 5 tales for less than a fiver. Not too shabby.

    Unless anyone can convince me otherwise, however, I will be sticking to the classic mode for each and every table.

    Just had a quick go of Sorceror's Lair in handheld mode. Seems totally fine to me tbh. I bought the bundle of 9 tables for 17.99. That will be plenty to start with.

    My slow motion comment was a bit harsh but coming from playing this on PS4 the handheld mode is very jarring. Not tried docked yet but I'm sure it's great.

    I've broken 20 million on Excalibur, but a combination of rustyness and bad luck has stopped me going further. I can once again almost predict when I'm going to lose a ball almost 10 seconds in advance.

    I also had to turn off those pop ups in the top right corner. They were quite distracting.

    What camera is everyone using?

    It probably is mate. I don't think I'd like switching between the two like that. If I plan on having a session on it I'll just stick to one mode over the other.

    View 6 and classic mode :)
    Have we all got each other added as friends?

    I think you're showing up on my leaderboards already! As is somebody else. Its still early days I suppose!

    Also, I had a quick go in portable mode with the vertical orientation and it is amazing! Best viewing angle in the entire game and I wad able to time my shots perfectly. Nearly beat my high score on Excalibur at my first attempt! :D

    @DangerousDave_87

    Can't wait to have a do on Excalibur later. I went a bit ott with my table purchases but I do love this game.
    What view are you using?

    Same as you, I think. The first camera is just a little too zoomed out for my liking. I kept losing sight of the ball behind the detailing in the table.

    @DangerousDave_87

    I've used several in the past but I kind of settled on 6 as for me it seems to be the best.

    Portrait mode is good fun but a bit more difficult. I'd say it was worth the release delay to include it.

    11 million so far for me on Excalibur. I'm not seeing any friend scores for Excalibur in classic mode for some reason.

    This is a bit addictive. Picked up the set with a family guy table and the Excalibur set as well.

    Only played the demo undocked on the Switch, but the framerate was all over the place. :(

    The free greek gods table seems a bit laggy but the other ones I've tried work fine, at least to my eyes. I didn't like what I played of Stern Pinball for some reason.

    Good news is Zen are looking to patch in 60FPS in handheld. Seems weird they delayed this for portrait mode and thought it was OK to release the game running like this.
    Had a go in docked mode on Jaws last night and was really surprised at how bad it looks compared to PS4. Pretty shoddy port all round I'm afraid hope they can get it fixed up.

    For anyone that plays this on IOS, the Star Wars tables have all been reduced to 99p each.
