I name my pets after current events/happenings.

I have a new cat called Bitcoin. It can forecast the price by eating out of either a red or green food bowl.

So if BITCOIN completely tanks we can call it a Ponzi scheme right?

Loadcoin still available. PM me for EG rates.

I think I'm willing to buy into the idea that it's a ponzi, provided a whole bunch of other speculative assets are classed as ponzis too. Eg houses, gold etc.

It could be, but generally isn't used for that purpose. See tulip mania.

I must confess that I did expect all the conspiracy theorists to start popping up out of their holes to wail on about the cryptocurrency crash.

It was already under a bad star as a lot of people adopted Bitcoin et al. as a way to give "teh Establishment!!!11ONE!" the finger and keep the "establishment banks" and governments out of the loop, praising it as "unmanipulable" by the NWO/Koch Brothers/Soros/Jews.

So when all the news about the inherently unregulated cryptocurrencies being stolen, manipulated and abused for illegal business (why do I seem to be the only one who is remotely surprised about this?), I expected all these far-left and far-right nutters to pop up and tell us all that these stories about drug dealers and currency thefts are fake, spread by Jewish bankers who want to keep us beholden to the "Establishment".

So far though, it seems that they're being remarkably quiet.

Well gold and property are physical assets, gold is a commodity and has been in use for 2000 years.

The biggest difference gold and property are regulated. The tools for measuring their value are varied and adopted worldwide.

BITCOIN on the other hand is obviously subject to massive fluctuations and extreme manipulation by parties with sufficient influence and wealth.

Despite the tanking, I'm still up. Not going to sell though as I was never in this for the short time and I've forgotten about the money I put in.

From the SEC hearing in the states regarding crypto.

"We must crack down hard on those who abuse our young enthusiasm for Bitcoin and blockchain technology"

"We owe it to this new generation to respect their interest in this new technology with a thoughtful, regulatory approach"

    CFTC Chairman Gaincarlo.

Icos will now have to register and they also want to go after scams and pump and dump groups. All good for the long term effect of the market.

    Gaincarlo bought the dip.

I've invested about 5 in some Estrella. I reckon it'll be ready to cash out after an hour or so in my portfolio (fridge).

I'm surprised the SEC hearing was so positive. Don't they know that all of crypto is a giant ponzi scheme?!? Right??

Well, if you're invested in the dodgy shit like bitcoin and ethereum, then yeah, TTL is practically infinite.

But I'm all in on Loadcoin. TTL is now at 23 minutes.

Bit awkward, trying to hide Delta from the missus. She asked last night how our crypto portfolio was doing.

Uhhhhhhhhh nothing to see here, ignore the massive red numbers, it's fine!

One of these days the currency you have in your digital wallet is going to be worth less than the money you likely paid for the wallet itself.

At what point does it stop becoming a dip, and start becoming a freefall?
