Turkey is almost done so can't wait to get stuffed. Will be drinking tonight and again tomorrow so fuck it.

Anyway I have got Wolfenstein 2 and PUBG and GT Sport to get through too.

    Merry Christmas everybody.

Feeling ya. Thought of having to put the kids to bed and drive 100 miles up the M6 has put me right off.

Might have a Manhattan and a cigarette later and call it quits.

My enthusiasm for drinking today had kinda waned, but I was then reminded that aunt Tricia was joining us for Christmas dinner and Captain Morgan's is now unto nectar.

Too full. I need to digest before the serious drinking starts.

    @craigy

It's been good so far, the only let down is the lack of portable view in my Christmas stocking!

God Christmas is exhausting with kids. I'd even go as far to say as they ruin Christmas. Still, gotta love 'em.

    Knackered and absolutely STUFFED!

Did a 3 bird roast: turkey, duck, pheasent. Roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, ginger bread stuffing. chilli honey roast carrots, sprouts sauteed in garlic butter, bread sauce, port & cranberry gravey.

Got a cointreau & orange pudding to have later with cointreau cream and custard.

Wonder if I'll be up for port and cheeses later... No.

They absolutely do. My eldest has been an absolute nightmare today. Had to give him two timeouts in his room - one because he smacked his little brother in the head with a torch.

Creates both an incredible need to drink and a real fear of the booze in case I miss one of them trying to throttle the other.

All you people who are too full to drink: now is the time for a cocktail. Something robust, fortifying and relatively savoury, like a Manhattan or a Negroni.

Simples. Rope then into thec drinking. They're quiet (eventually) and you get to drink! WIN/WIN!*

When I was a young un playing sf2 championship edition on my mega drive, I thought Ken and Ryu were saying 'dice a dice bird kick' when doing a hurricane kick.

Should have spinning bird kicked her. Although probably less likely to get a 3 bird roast.

We're all flagging here, the early start is coming back to haunt us. 10 more mins and then the kids will be in bed and we can get stuck into the cheese and wine, perhaps with a game or a film. Not decided yet. I suspect the in laws will be in bed by 9....
