Thanks. Give it a go it's great fun. However the items aren't worth bothering about. Nothing missed if you don't kill it.

I also saw I vid by Arrekz talking about crafting blast and sleep ammo for the bow. Could have been useful last night.
I'll definitely remember that for the future.

Just downloaded (demo) this. Only ever played an hour or so of 3 on 3ds so I'm coming in with not a lot of lore or understanding. I'm going to try sp, not sure that mp is running ?

Seriously, we triggered that frog at least on one attempt, because I certainly got knocked out by it !
Wouldn't have thought Nergi would be affected though, being an Elder (immune to traps).

Better use of the large barrel bombs I think, plus poison knives. Not sure what weapons everyone was using.
I was on insect Glaive, osso on gunlance? Splosh on bow. Not sure about John D... Great sword maybe.
I think practice also made a difference..

Ooh, just did it with a bunch of randoms. I was on heavy bowgun. Seems quite good if he's not paying you much attention.

Also, meals, and armour.
