He spent two hours staring at the DVD box.
I got stoned and watched Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Utterly appalling, probably the worst film I've ever seen, but the weed was good, I had a few cold glass bottles of Coke and some posh crisps. So it became a sort of decadent performance piece; a juxtaposition of the sublime and the ridiculous, the whole thing underpinned by an undercurrent of stupidity and extreme laziness. -

Registered 8 years agoWoke up without a hangover, but an incredibly dry mouth. 2018 has started pretty well so far. -
Okay...I'll start with that pointless and much ridiculed exercise , the new year's resolutions:
1. Less Internet / phone use
2. Exercise (no I'm not joining a gym)
3. Make it three years sober
4. Finally learn the violin (not going to happen)
5. Read more
6. Play more board games
7. Live more mindfully (meditate a couple of times a day)
8. Be kinder to myself and worry less
Right and on that note, I'm going to run Forest for a couple of hours and meditate and get on with stuff. -

Ha... I did actually manage to get out, and yes, I was wankered by the end of the night.

@Psychotext have you left yet?.gif)

Maybe. He was on 16% beverages.
Not as wankered as the girl that threw up next to me on the tram though. -

I'm reasonably certain she wouldn't have even been able to work out her name at that point.

Registered 16 years agoI had more to drink than I planned. Seemed like a good idea at the time but being in work with a hangover isn't good. It's my 6th of nine days in a row so an early night tonight.
2018 start has been a bit forgetful so far. -
Getting drunk did the last time this holiday. White Russians this morning, couple of glasses of Brut with the new years roast dinner. Might have a few beers now, mulled wine later.
It's helping me take my mind off the impending return to reality. I say last day but I can always drink on the train as I head back to gentrified hipster central (Bristol). -

Registered 16 years agoBack to work properly tomorrow (worked between Christmas and New Year, but it was a bit of a joke). Kind of glad... will be nice to be back to normality.
Mixed up a fuck-off huge Coronarita with lunch and used more tequila than was probably wise. Now feel very merry indeed. -

Registered 15 years agoIt's been a great rest both physically and mentally. I have barely left home. I've basically been living like Henry the eighth for a week. Work tomorrow and back to normal. Booooo.

Happy New Year all and a special good luck to Germany, with the "safety zones" you've set up due to the high levels of rapey immigrants.
