I think it's pretty accessible as in it's very easy to pull off some flashy stuff. Online is a different world though l played about 6 games and only won 2.

The biggest issue for me was winning a match as Yamcha, game clearly needs patching.

Really enjoyed the brief bit I played during the beta and it seems to have the balance of accessible yet deep.

I fucking cannot wait for the full release of this. Just had a crack at another couple of hours and some really good matches.

I'm torn though, on character selection. Teen Gohan, Adult Trunks, but who else?!

Maybe Piccolo as first starter. He is deceptively slippery with a parry and sideswitch special.

I know it would be unfair but I would love it if piccolos ultra special had him teleport out and be unable to be chosen for a set period before he pops back in (when the player decides) and does his special beam cannon.

Cancelled my pre order on the basis I managed to get 4 fights across 2 betas that were remotely playable. One to pick up cheap once the servers get sorted methinks

Is there, like, character diversity in this? In DBZ, isn't a Beam Cannon basically a Death Beam, same as a Galick Gun, or a Kamehameha? I'd imagine if Sagat's Tiger Shot in SF4 was OP, this must be hell. :confused:

Yes, there is. Not all characters have access to a beam special for example. I'd say there's quite a lot of diversity, especially with some of the rushdown heavy characters.

Buying purely for the single player. As I mentioned before, I am awful at these games. I don't have the patience or want, to be beaten every time I play online.

I imagine Broly is a lock for DLC.

I'm hoping my copy is at home after work. Ordered via GameSeek as they were the cheapest but only got my dispatch notice at 4pm yesterday.

I really hope Master Roshi is one of the dlc characters. Possible earlier versions of cell. Mr Satan etc.

Hopefully the dlc will have diverse characters not just Vegeta with dad-tache.

@Graxlar_v3 highly doubt 17 will be dlc, as he gets used as a special attack by 18. Literally.

Roshi, Whis, Broly, Cooler and Jiren would be my dead certs. Possibly Champa.

Oh, and Hercule.

Took a while for this to click withe last night but when it did I struggled to put it down. Seems to be a huge level of depth in there and some of the stuff you can do of you take the training wheels off and stop just doing auto combos is ridiculous.

I need to work on the timing for my combo's, you actually have a lot more time to press the buttons then you think which is jarring when you move from autocombos to real ones

I can't reliably do c.l c.l c.m s.m jump and then continue the combo in the air but it is day 2 I guess
