Registered 9 years agoYeah don't think I'll be buying this unless they patch an actual game in. Be gathering dust in days. -

Registered 11 years agoA bit dead in this topic, innit? No-one's posted anything here for over 10 days.
Anyway, as the robot pack seems to have been a bit of a sales flop, what are the chances that retailers will slash its price to shift stock? I paid full price for the variety pack as there seemed to be a lot of content for the price. However, I'm not prepared to pay full price for the robot pack. I'd certainly buy it at around £35 - just not at full RRP. -

Registered 9 years agoAll of it has sold like shit really, will be interesting to see if they keep pushing it or let it die quietly in the corner. -

Registered 16 years agoThink i mentiond in the other thread, i got mine for £50 with the full knowledge that my kids are too young for it, but just because i was interested.
The building aspect is fun enough, but the minigames are just what they are, mini games. Built the motorbike and the fishing rod, played both for about five minutes and that'll probably be all i bother doing with it.
i might try and get my 3.5 year old to play with the fishing rod he might like that. The motorbike he will just break i think.
Havent built the house yet, or the piano or RC car.
Another concern is the amount of space this shit takes up -

Registered 15 years agoThe space concern is why I haven't bought it, as I know I'd love building it, and I know my niece's would love playing it. I'd still be stuck with lots of large cardboard constructs hanging about, which I simply don't have the room for. -

Registered 9 years agoYeah didn't fall for this one, it just had far too much of a whiff of great concept, no content from day one. Guess they can't have lost all that much on it as it was all just overpriced rubbish, literally 🤣🤣 -

Registered 10 years agoHaven't got ours out the box yet... the boy's just had £50 worth of Kirby so he can finish that fucker first But I very much share the concerns here of a) little content and b) space needed to store the builds.
With the area where you can design and program your own creations, is there a community hub where people upload their designs for you to download and print yourself? That's where I think this has got legs, if it's the case. You always get some uber geeks knocking out amazing stuff. Any know if this is what Nintendo have planned? -

Registered 13 years ago@HarryPalmer Yep, that's right. You don't need more than two for any of the Labo stuff. -
@BigOrkWaaagh thanks
